A supports available by same/different sexes and same/different houses
Yes i already posted this to reddit but im moving some of my reddit stuff to also be here
Notes
This table excludes both Byleths (because they are the only ones that go beyond A and A+ supports so they technically can have an A ending with anyone but instead they dont because they require an S support for an ending and it gets confusing and the male-female duality of byleth arguably cancels out a lot), Rhea, and Sothis.
Because this is not a table that requires a romantic ending, but merely a table that requires an ending to exist, I kept in Hanneman-Lysithea, Gilbert-Annette, and Seteth-Flayn despite them all being endings that are explicitly clear in their's being father-daughter style relationships.
Gilbert only has a total of 2 endings so he may have skewed the male averages. It doesnt help that the second lowest, sylvain, is also included in males.
The characters are sorted alphabetically by name.
Notable data
Excluding Gilbert, it is interesting to note that Edelgard is the least likely to take gender into account when deciding on if an ending exists or not.
Alois, Hanneman, and Ingrid are the only characters without a single paired same sex ending here
Annette and Dorothea are both tied at 11 for most paired endings
Flayn has the most paired endings that take place with a character outside her house, all of these endings are heterosexual and none are same sex.
The same sex endings that are out of house have a higher female total, despite there being more male characters overall. That column is the only area that happens in.
Characters with more than half their paired endings outside their house are Ashe, Catherine, Cyril, Flayn, Gilbert, Hanneman, Lysithea, and Shamir. Only Ashe and Lysithea are apart of a main house trio and simultaneously in this category.
Annette is the only character that has as many as a total of 10 opposite sex endings. However, if you ignore father-daughter pairings with endings, Annette has 9 endings and she ties with characters: Claude, Ignatz, Ingrid, Linhardt, and Marianne. Of these characters, only Ingrid lacks any kind of same sex pairing, this easily makes Ingrid the most exclusively and actively heterosexual. Ingrid's counterpart as the most exclusively and actively homosexual endings is Edelgard, who is followed by Manuela.
Seteth is the most average character when it comes to every category overall.
