For many Matoran in the diaspora, Olrid Warhammer was the closest thing to a Turaga they had. It didn’t matter where they came from, or what element they belonged to—so long as they hated the Makuta, he took them in. Sure, they could never stop moving, and sure, Olrid had some disturbingly violent dreams regarding the Brotherhood, but he seemed kind enough... so long as you didn’t find yourself on the other end of his hammer.

But the Fe-Matoran has his own plans. Many long years ago, one of the last Toa of Iron had given him a Toa stone just before Makuta Kravahk found him... but unfortunately, it seemed that Olrid wasn’t destined to transform. Undeterred, he began chasing after his scattered brothers, hoping beyond hope to help create a new Toa of Iron—a Toa who would destroy the Makuta once and for all.

Lace and Mysgentis! Lace is a prototype le matoran and Mysgentis is a prototype fe- matoran who is friends with Kota, one of the main characters of contingency! Lace will soon appear in Contingency chapter 10 and Mysgentis will be in the next story called Remnants of Hope!
