By overprotectibve family I meant in the sense that they love and care for him, but are concerned because he disappeared. Basilio and Flavia want to make sure Xander is strong enough to protect their pseudo grandchild, LonQue had a similar motive. Robin is more amicable but wants to make sure Xander intentions are good. Chrom is naturally concerned because "shit my son is MARRIED!? I'M A GRANDPARENT!? When this happen!?" Olivia is perfectly fine, mostly because she can't judge. Lucy PROTECT tho
I imagine Lucina would be hyperprotective of her family members, especially her sibling and Owain. So I imagine Xander would have a hard time getting Lucina’s blessing simply because “My baby brother was all I had for most my life, you better be good for him.” On top of being the protective big sister on principal. In the end they’ll be really good friends tho

I gotcha! They’d all be super curious about where Inigo has been this whole time and curious as to the type of person Xander is for sure! Especially since Inigo has started a family with him! (Chrom being flabbergasted at being a grandad somehow already is still so funny, haha).
Again, I’m not sure about the protective thing on Lucina’s part? Because she is the leader of the future children and as such takes great care and responsibility with them! And same for her family too! Even moreso with family because she did lose almost all of them in the bad future. But like I said before, the “protective family member” trope has often left a bad taste in my mouth with how it’s been handled in the past. So her being a steadfast protector that goes further than having a conversation(s?) with Inigo about who Xander is, how they met, why they fell in love, and getting to know Xander herself is hard for me to imagine. I’m sure she has questions and curiosities like they all do! But beyond that I’m not so sure. I agree that they’re good friends in the end though!
