posting these in groups. group 1 of old doodles & scrapped pieces i found: fire emblem & fire emblem ocs. years & descriptions under the cut
row 1 - 2021, a handful of 3 Houses doodles (a protagonist AU Flayn design, Cynthia + Annette because they were two of my favs, Annette/Claude because they're quite cute)
row 2 - 2021. two Hitman AUs:
Lucina/Cynthia one where Lucina becomes an assassin tracing the last steps of her long-missing father and Cynthia, the daughter of her father's handler, steps in to act as Lucina's);
Severa one that has no actual explanation to it other than "once in like 2020 after getting into Hitman i had a dream where Severa was 47 and it stuck with me for a while after that"
row 3 - 2021, 2022.
(2021) a Fire Emblem OC. was originally designed as a Stahl fankid, reused as a 131000 cast member. her name is Evelyn she's a troubadour;
(2022) Cordelia / Lissa doodle. was toying with post-timeskip designs for them because i've thought about the Awakening timeskip more than Intsys has
not 100% on this and i might redo it again later but... nowi redesign.... when warriors came out it confirmed tiki was still a child at 1000+ because she'd been frozen in stasis for most of her life. so as someone also 1000+ nowi should very much be an adult designwise by that point... i wanted to give her a new look with that in mind...
design notes under the cut:
my idea for this was effectively the vibe and whimsy of like... a college extrovert. she has a bright personality and takes on the self-imposed role of the Shepherds' moodmaker and i think that needs to be emphasised in her design. i wanted something fun and cute that still offered breathability (the low heels, the flowy top, the poofed shorts);
i did look at both her & Nah's halloween alts for Heroes because i really liked a lot of concepts from them (particularly the long sleeves & pumpkin shorts, and the ankle boots). these ended up being by far my heaviest reference;
i also looked through my own fashion compilations because i bookmark a lot of clothing references but uhhhh. most of mine lean towards lolita stylings or like... nice ffxiv glams because those are what show up most for me on twitter so LOL not much of it was handy. i did find a very nice jean jacket though that i used because i think it suits her;
because she has this in canon i did want to implement scalework. but considering these are her own scales she's using... if the coverage area is too wide then that means she's losing scales at an alarming rate (as is noted in her supports with Gregor when she tries giving him a sweater she lined with her scales) so i think it's best to keep the area limited. makes the shed seem reasonable. originally this was going to be the trim on the jacket thing but at my roommate's suggestion we swapped it to giving her dragonskin belts;
palette is ripped entirely from her canon outfit. i am not good with colours and i shuffled things around a lot but i think at least for now this works
i still don't have a desk yet but i have taken temporary residence at the dining table so that i have a stable place to use my laptop so. it's not the oc profiles i wanted to do but here's a mouse doodle of Celice and Linnet. allow me to introduce 131000, in which they are the main protagonists
Fire Emblem 131000, FE131000 or simply 131000 for short, is a project I've been working on since 2018. (It does have a proper name, but I'm saving that / don't want to publicly reveal it for now because I'm trying to set up the general setting for another project outside of this specific story and want to use the name for that.) It's a sequel to Fire Emblem Awakening - specifically the timeline where Chrom puts Grima to sleep instead of letting Robin kill them, meaning Grima is set to come back and lay waste to the world once more 1000 years later when they wake.
131000 takes place in the months leading up to that thousand-year anniversary. And in that time, a lot has changed. The world has evolved immensely (the setting is a modern / urban fantasy FE), for one. For another, Naga has moved on and Tiki has taken her place (as she did in Future Past, with Nah as her voice).
And for yet another, as the centuries passed, the truth of what was yet to come was revealed - people found out Grima was set to come once more, and eventually the how they could be killed was too found out. This led to a complete 180 on how people approached the Grimleal; they - and Robin's bloodline - were instead heralded as the saviours of the world to come, with the idea that whoever was born as the Vessel of Grima would be born with the purpose of dying to save everyone. The champion of the world. That's Linnet's role, as the vessel. Born with a full Brand of the Defile in one eye, raised with the knowledge her time was short, she eventually fled in the hopes of seeing the world while she still had the time, wanting to be able to confirm for herself that the world was in fact worth sacrificing herself for instead of simply making that choice without it being her own.
And for even yet another way the world changed... as the centuries passed, after Grima's return was discovered, after the Vessel being the key was discovered... last of all, it was discovered (pieced together) that Chrom had made the active choice to put Grima to sleep, not wanting to lose Robin. And the same way Robin's bloodline became glorified, his became vilified in an instant. The choice he made to save his friend turned him into the most reviled king in history, his descendants were chased off the Ylissean throne. That's where Celice comes in; as a distant, distant descendant with her Brand of the Exalt stamped across her throat, she's lived and grown under his shadow, knowing nothing of him but his mistakes, desperate to reclaim a throne that hasn't been her family's in generations and to prove herself as being far apart from him... despite how much their personalities ultimately line up. And despite her lack of leadership ability outside of a battle setting.
This project came to be in 2018 when I was thinking about the sleep ending - I'm not a fan of it as an ending to Awakening itself and always have been outspoken about that because I think it both bottlenecks Chrom's development as a leader (making the same decision that he would have made for Emmeryn a lifetime of battles and decisions ago) and I think that the way the second gen reacts to it is very OOC. I feel like they'd all be horrified they came back in time to stop Grima and now it's a problem for another generation. And now Nah has to deal with Grima's revival for an entire third time. I'd already had one FE fan setting I'd created a few months prior, so I decided to take this and turn it into a full concept - the what happens when Grima comes back around? How does the new generation react? How much has the world changed in so many years? And 131000 was the result! I'm very fond of it and hope that this concept interests at least some of my followers because the general setting of just a modernised world of Ylisse is very fun for me to be workshopping as well, and I love my OCs (and Nah who is practically an OC for this purpose) dearly, so I want to be able to share them with everyone knowing who / what they are. Yay. <3
