So i’ve been working on a story for about over a year now called legend of cynder, not an original idea by any means but it’s an AU about Legend of Spyro where Cynder is instead the protagonist.

But cynder isn’t the purple dragon here, nor is she a legendary counterpart, she is just a survivor on the raid of the dark temple. In this au dark and light dragons both despise each other and have their own cultures. Enough about that though, let’s talk about what the art is centred upon, the dark guardians!

In order:

Wyndara - Wind dragon, reserved and serious. Wyndara began as a warrior and even as she is beyond her prime years, she throws herself into battle. Often leading to her being cranky later because her bones hurt. Is cynder’s mother figure.

Kaleido - Poison dragon, loud and outgoing. The fun aunty.

Echonus - Shadow dragon, quiet and restless. She is the youngest, actually being mentored by the previous shadow guardian when the temple was attacked.

Tyranta - Fear dragon, laid back and peaceful, as well as a bit too cocky. She is always at odds with wyndara for pushing cynder too hard with training, believing the ancestors will guide cynder to winning.

I’m actually gonna say he’s not a wind and fear dragon, since I’m making duel wielding a super rare thing. He’s still got really powerful wings but he’s just a corrupted sound dragon. (aka fear) He can awaken the flight response in any one with a sound blast and freak out multiple enemies. He is a brute dragon making him very aggressive and unpredictable, but he is exceptionally intelligent. Sometimes allowing others to enter his lands without even showing himself unless they do something to warrant his appearance. His scales tend to go. I’m still working on his territory.
