Monster high AU notes! Like all my AUs, though i may branch out later, the focus is mainly on Scapegrace, Thrasher and Clarabelle. Placing this all under a cut bc it gets LONG lol. Also their ages for this are all 16👍

First i designed Dipterabelle Brundle, daughter of the Brundlefly (for those unfamiliar with MH, the students are all son-of-monster or daughter-of-monster, rather than THE monsters themselves). First two were drawn freehand with pen and the digitalized Dipterabelle was made using Frankie Stein as a base. The fly motif is pretty obvious, but I also wanted to include those mad scientist-esque boots and the red ties as a nod to Seth Brundle himself. Also a fun fact, her hands have an asymmetrical number of fingers (four on the right, three on the left) after the model of the fully transformed Brundlefly. (Also, note: just like the Brundlefly, she eats by vomiting acid on her food until it melts and then slurps it all up with her proboscis. Isn't that awesome)

My first concept of Scapegrace and Thrasher (i have not come up with fun MH names for them yet but i am open to ideas!). Scapegrace is the son of a dullahan and he has to hold his head on (LOSER!!) and Thrasher was originally just a regular zombie but I changed my mind later (see below).

Now my recently refined MH!Scapegrace and MH!Thrasher. Scapegrace is still a Dullahan but I cleaned up his outfit, modeled him more after a victorian era coachman, and came up with a reason his head is falling off- he has a bowtie he's supposed to wear, but as a rebellious teen he refuses to do that (also why he wears his coat unbuttoned) so he has nothing to hold his head up.

Thrasher is the son of the Fear Gorta/the Hungry Man. This is because I found that more interesting to work with than a plain zombie (also there's already a surplus of zombies in Monster High so i wanted to get creative). His skin is falling off in places, but underneath is only a skeleton, because he is literally "all skin and bones" (because the Fear Gorta is an emaciated figure, and all skin and bones is a way to say someone is skinny, get it? I'm very smart). He also never gets his own lunch at the cafeteria, instead he walks around asking for people's leftovers. He always hovers around Scapegrace's table because even though Scapegrace likes to Have food, he can't eat it (due to his head not being attached) so Thrasher gets it all.

That's all ATM. Im also working on their MH bios as well like freaky flaws and fav subjects etc. Feel free 2 ask questions!!

Day 19 - Fear Gorta and the hungry grass - hunger phantoms from the famine, basically. The hungry grass is a different thing, but related to the famine in particular: if you stand in the grass, you must immediately eat a piece of bread or you will starve on the spot
