To Vanquish Fear
A simple air elemental spell, using the wind to blow your fears away. Elemental magic is simple but powerful. This spell is good for beginners to the Craft and experienced witches as well.
Supplies:
Wind
A yellow candle
Light a yellow candle indoors and sit in quiet contemplation for a second. See the candle's flames drawing in your fear and anxieties; see it and the candle becoming infused with them.
Take the candle outside and let the wind quench its flame.
It is done.
Fear Spell || Open
Everything had been going so well, there were all the people in their lovely costumes. Everyone had seemed to be enjoying the party. And then, without warning, everything changed and it all went to hell. Kathryn had been coming from the bar, just chatting with someone else when she suddenly stopped in her tracks. There in front of her was the worst sight she had ever seen before. There were so many bodies. Bodies drained of blood littered the floor and Kathryn knew that it had been her who had done that. She had killed all of those people. Never mind that she no memory of such a thing, she just knew that she had done that. Her drink slipped from her hand, shattering on the ground as the vampire stared at the horror in front of her. “No...” She whispered, stepping back on shaky legs.
Neglect || Self
Noelle heard her scream from all the way down the hall, the pained cry that followed could only have come from one person. The image of her younger sister flashed across her mind and she took off, sprinting down the hallway towards the sound. She turned the door and her heart dropped at the sight of her siblings huddled around a figure on the floor. “He’s gone.” she heard one of her brothers say, and she pushed past them to see a small body lying on the floor, the wide empty eyes of her youngest brother staring up at her. “Oh my god, no.” Noelle breathed, reaching down and shaking him, trying to get him to wake up. “Come on, Jake! Please!” she urged, shouting his name.
“This is your fault!” her sister spat at her, and she lifted her head to see the younger girl scowling at her. “If you were at home instead of at your fancy school this wouldn’t have happened!” she accused, and Noelle shook her head, clutching her brother’s body. “No, I didn’t do this.” she insisted, but her siblings started chiming in, each with their own accusations. “Mom and Dad can barely afford food for us since you left!” followed by “He starved and we will too, and you’re off at a school doing whatever you want!” Another shouted at her from across the body, “They can’t afford heat either, so we’ll freeze if we don’t starve!” Tears fell down her face as she looked around, desperately hoping someone came came by. “Someone help! Please!” she shouted, her voice strained. “Please there’s children here, they’re going to die!” she called out, praying someone would care.
