I find it IMMENSELY ironic that the God of misfortune himself, The Schemer is a man so obsessed with Gambling and riches, and member of the billionaire club. Or perhaps it does makes sense, his misfortune falls on others and lets him climb to the top. I do wonder, however, if he is ever a victim of his own misfortune. Maybe that manifests in other ways, maybe thats how he, a God, has ended up in an elaborate experiment that messes with ones mind, memory, and code. Obviously his God powers still hold some standing, I'd think, perhaps shown here where server_anomaly speaks directly to The Schemer when he's dropped in late "you tend to vanish without updating the system, you know that? :-/" perhaps this has to do with code more complex than some, him being a God? Or his time going through the Multiverse which we can't see on the Schemer's own channel, but on e1ow's.
Fear and Schemer, at the end get caught in their Supercollider before it explodes. The Supercollider was what they were using to travel the multiverse. Now for a moment I was thinking, okay.. maybe the Supercollider is specifically what made Schemer late, but Fear ends up in Flipside no problem. So, obviously he's done something special. server_anomaly says "you tend to vanish" the Schemer's done something special that Fear didn't that made it hard for server_anomaly to find him. AND ALSO WHERES E1OW? he's not in flipside I don't think? Whered he go? Mostly I'm curious as to how The Schemer's godhood affects his experience being part of such experiments and how he ended up here in the first place? The two docs we have (or at least that I'm aware of) that act as experiment abstracts/info on server_anomaly's role as an observer or control factor have mentioned that Flipside is intended to "observe behavioral, emotional, and decision based outcomes when two human participants are bound to a single soul construct across separate simulated worlds." Right.. but Schemer's not a human. He's a God? Or a Rat? Rat God? So why is he here? Is there something about him that makes him "human enough" to keep him here or is he here because whoever, whatever is running this experiment wants to investigate how a God functions. BUT ALSO in e1ow's video, already linked above, the Schemer introduces himself by saying "I was the God of Misfortune." WAS. Maybe something changed that caused him to fall from Godhood and be dragged into this experiment, and this series of multiverses. So, just some stuff to note. Super excited for more episodes, and I'll work on watching some additional OE6 episodes and Flipside perspectives to investigate more of what's going on. Schemer probably is the one we'll focus on most, I am biased..
EDIT: Mostly for myself, Strike is not playing themself in OE6, they are playing a character called Pendulum. Not the same person.
ANOTHER EDIT: Billionaire Fear is DEAD. Schemer is the same Schemer in every universe, not neccesarily the same for every person. Perhaps why it was easier for Fear to be dragged into Flipside, but Schemer did get caught in the fabric of the Universe so that's why it took longer? Good things to know..
