I’m so incredibly proud of them but at the same time I see the hard work. I’ve been saying for a couple of seasons they still have room to improve their technical scores but they are killing it on the grade of execution features, whilst older couples are bringing the same thing year in year out. If those teams don’t evolve they will be passed. And here we are.

From disco Brits to Vogue, from Rocky to Queen B

For years I have followed them, their journey and growth. For the last couple of seasons felt they were undermarked, but I could see that on a given day they could and should beat the Italians. What they didn’t have in the skating skills they were finding in the GOE and components.

I’m actually speechless that it has finally happened. A world medal. I’m so proud of them for their achievement and achieving it by simply being themselves. 🥉🇬🇧

It looks like 2026 may not be a golden Olympic year, but do we now use this momentum to set our sights on a medal at 2026 and go for gold in 2030?
