❝You…. You were right, Max.❞ Harrison started. Giving a long look at the entrance of the camp, before his gaze fell to the ground. A frown forming on his face as he finally set his box of belongings on the ground solemnly.

❝… They’re not coming back… Not your parents… And not… Mine… ❞

While a part of him had a feeling about Harrison’s parents, he figured it was a very low feeling. He expected as much from his own, the way they seemed avoidant and seemed to talk, they were immature enough to abandon him and ditch town, after all, they did similar in the past anyway. He wasn’t expecting his parents to come pick him up, but seeing Harrison’s mood fall to the sinking realization, it made Max feel guilty.

“...Come on.” He tucked his hands into his pocket and started walking away, looking towards the counselor cabin. “Can you climb?”
