words  pull  her  from  her  reverie,  blinking  for  a  moment  as  she  processes  the  words.  a  hot  flush  spreads  across  her  cheeks,  focusing  back  on  rey’s  face  with  wide  eyes.  clearing  her  throat  as  she sets  her  tools  down  beside  her,  wiping  her  fingers  against  the  cloth  tied  to  her  belt.  “  hm,  i  don’t  know.  should  i  ?  ”  brows  lift,  stepping  closer  to  the  other  with  a  smirk  pulling  at  the  corners  of  her  lips.  hand  reaches  out,  fingertips  skimming  across  her  waist  before  moving  to  trail  across  her  arm.  gaze  never  leaves  rey’s,  stepping  fully  into  her  space.  reaching  up  enough  that  her  lips  hovered  close  to  rey’s,  hand  against  her  arm  sliding  up  to  rest  against  the  side  of  her  neck,  other  hand  gripping  her  waist.  “  do  you  want  me  to  kiss  you,  rey  ?  ”  words  breathed  into  the  space  between  their  lips,  gaze  remaining  against  her  features.  despite  already  knowing  the  answer  to  the  question,  still  she  could  not  help  but  tease  the  answer  from  her.

okay so this may get a little long because i am covering two people here but !!!!! 

@zloslwy     --       GEM !!!    your portrayal of mischief slinky is astounding and honestly, best oc in the galaxy of oc’s.  dat hair, dat smile, you know how it be.   no, no... but honestly - i absolutely adore what you have done with stiles as a muse and also while aging him up a bit.   you really dig in deep to stiles’ struggles, especially with his guilt - you show that in how he carries himself after high school and while in the FBI - and also, i absolutely adore that you made him go that route because we love to see that growth, that developement, stiles being his own person and not conformed to the narrative of what the show wanted.  you really gave a big FU to teen wolf and their shit arc for him and gave him so much more life and potential, and honestly, we love to see it.   

you as a person are just . . .    i’ve said it before and i’ll say it again, i am so dang proud of you for what you’re doing with your life.   you really take on so much and still push on, and i don’t know if you hear it enough - but you’re doing just great, you’re breaking that norm, and you’re going to do beautiful and great things.   your friends here will always be there standing behind you and cheering you are.   don’t give up, or give in, and remember - we all love you.  

bee, loml, platonic soulmates --  whatever we are.   i’ll never forget both gem and others pointing me in your direction , not knowing what was in store.  it was almost like we connected right off the bat, and i mean . . . within a week we were on the phone talking to each other for .... hours it felt like.    you brought in a muse that i absolutely loved with teej, bringing him to life.  your writing is just . . . beautiful, how you’re able to capture all of their voices is beyond me but i absolutely adore reading any or all of your interactions.  i also love your love for tj, the fact you brought him to life in a fandom that barely exists for it.  

but you as a person, bee?   i don’t think you realized how much you helped me over these last few months with everything going on - whether it was just me venting or talking about anything.  you’ve such a kind heart, while also not afraid to say what is on your mind.  i’m lucky to not only have found an amazing writing partner but also a friend in all that mix too, one that i am so completely comfortable with.  thank you for all you’ve done, and all you do - even now with your kiddos.  you’re working so hard for your goals and i can’t wait to see you continue to kick it all out of the park.    i adore you.  <3

𝙳𝙰𝚈 𝟹𝟾𝟼 𝙾𝙵 𝚃𝚁𝙰𝙸𝙽𝙸𝙽𝙶 -- or so it seemed. They were resilient toward one another, both too stubborn to be the first to give up despite the way they both complained and protested, groaning against their own frustrations. It's only as the rain comes down suddenly and in heavy sheets that they're forced to let down their defenses and put the training aside for another day. Even Poe seems to have grown tired of his biting remarks by the time the storm interrupts them and they retreat to the shelter of the ship hull.  It's rare to have such a silence among the three of them, and even the gentle mechanic noises are quashed beneath the dull roar of rain. It's only once they've all settled in that the exhaustion truly seems to sink in,  the efforts of their training finally realized.  They had come to some silent decision to wait out the weather,  but the beat doesn't let up.       “ Guess we should take the hint---- ”        He mumbles into the space between them,  eyes already half closed as he tugs the jacket closer around himself.  Slowly,  head droops,  cheek pressing in against Rey's shoulder as they sit there in silence,  breathing slowing as his lips turn in a small grin.        “ Tomorrow,  okay? ”

heart  aches  at  the  soft  vulnerability  behind  rey’s  words,  the  pleading  look  in  her  gaze.  lips  pull  into  a  soft  smile,  one  hand  reaching  out,  fingertips  curling  around  rey’s.  searching  her  gaze,  taking  a  step  closer,  brows  pulling  into  a  slight  sad  frown.  “  rey...  ”  her  name  falls  in  a  whisper,  eyes  closing  for  just  a  moment  as  she  takes  an  additional  step  closer.  reaching  up  on  tiptoes  to  press  her  free  hand  to  the  other’s  cheek.  “  come  with  me.  ”  though  she  understands  rey’s  need  to  stay  here  on  jakku,  that  did  not  mean  that  she  was  ready  to  leave  her  here  forever.  these  visits  meant  everything  to  her,  a  slice  of  peace  in  her  otherwhile  chaotic  life.  head  tilts  slightly,  pressing  a  soft  kiss  to  the  other’s  cheek.  “  let  me  show  you  the  stars,  rey.  ”  words  whispered  softly,  hopeful,  fingers  squeezing  against  the  others.

“ why ? ”    he    asks ,    gaze    narrowing    as    he    focuses    his    gaze    on    her .    “ it’s   CLEAR    that   you   have    made   up    your    mind   about    me    and    the   events  of    that    night . ”    slight    hint   of    spite    fuels    his    tone    as   his    mouth   curls ,   taking    a   step    closer    towards   her .     “ i   doubt    anything    that    i    will    say    will    make    a   DIFFERENCE ,    so    why   bother ?    believe    what   you    want   to   believe  rey .   you   should   be   more    than   capable    of    distinguishing   the    lies    from    the    truth .   or    have   skywalker’s    lessons    not   paid   off    yet  ? ”

a    good    thing  ?     he’s    almost    tempted    to    laugh  .    sure ,   this   might     be    good    for    her ;    a   girl    who’s    come    from    nothing ,    who    had    no    one   before  her   life    at    the   temple .     but   he’s   come    from    so    much    more  .     he     used    to    have    everyone .     his    mother ,     his    father ,     chewy ,    lando ,     luke .    but    he    keeps    on    losing    them    one    by    one     and    at    this    point  ,    it   feels    like    he    he   absolutely    no    one    LEFT .      shaking    his    head ,     he    moves    away    from    her ,    shifting    his   gaze    up   to   the   sky .     “ i’m    not    even    sure    why    you’d    care . ”     he     mutters .      luke   had   said    they    had    something    special .    a  CONNECTION .    perhaps    that’s    how    she’s    sensed    his    plans    to    leave .     “ with   me   gone ,    you’ll   get   all   the    attention    you    WANT    from    him .     you’ll   be  able    to   become   the   great    jedi    he    wants    you    to    be .  ”     bitterness    laces   his  tongue ,    but    it’s    not   aimed    at   her .    “ i’m   just    in   the   way . ”

smile  spreads  across  her  lips,  light  laugh  filling  the  air.  “  is  that  not  why  i  do  everything  in  my  life  ?  ”  though  spoken  with  humour,  that  did  not  make  it  any  less  true.  the  amount  of  times  she  had  been  told  that  she  could  not  be  a  good  pilot  or  that  she  would  never  make  it  in  the  rebellion  thanks  to  her  background.  but  she  had  done  it.  she  had  proved  them  all  wrong.  and  this  would  be  no  different.  “  i  guess  the  only  question  is...  ”  pausing  a  moment,  turning  to  her  friend  with  a  wide  grin.  “  will  you  join  me  ?  ”

concerned  gaze  moves  over  her  friend,  brows  pulling  together  with  the  force  of  her  worry.  “  you  don’t  need to  lie  to  me,  rey.  ”  a  small  smile  plays  at  the  corners  of  her  lips,  switching  the  ship  into  autopilot  after  punching  in  their  coordinates.  “  you’ve  been  pushin’  yourself  quite  hard.  there’s  nothin’  wrong  with  admitting  that  it’s  weighing  heavily  on  you.  ”  pausing  a  moment,  standing  to  move  to  the  seat  beside  her.  “  but,  if  you  are  just  tired  then  why  don’t  you  take  a  break  ?  the  hard  part  is  over.  we’re  on  our  way  to  the  coordinates.  i  think  i  can  handle  it  from  here.  ”  one  hand  moves  to  squeeze  her  friends  knee  gently,  an  encouraging  smile  now  pulling  at  her  lips.
