heart aches at the soft vulnerability behind rey’s words, the pleading look in her gaze. lips pull into a soft smile, one hand reaching out, fingertips curling around rey’s. searching her gaze, taking a step closer, brows pulling into a slight sad frown. “ rey... ” her name falls in a whisper, eyes closing for just a moment as she takes an additional step closer. reaching up on tiptoes to press her free hand to the other’s cheek. “ come with me. ” though she understands rey’s need to stay here on jakku, that did not mean that she was ready to leave her here forever. these visits meant everything to her, a slice of peace in her otherwhile chaotic life. head tilts slightly, pressing a soft kiss to the other’s cheek. “ let me show you the stars, rey. ” words whispered softly, hopeful, fingers squeezing against the others.
