Just to let you know, while browsing the Lucy Wilde, I saw you post something about working on a rp blog for her and I got really excited :3 When I found out you finished it, all I can say I was: :DDDD
outofspy: ASDFGHJKLÇ thanks a lot! I'm so happy to hear that, you have no idea ;_; I was pretty afraid about starting a roleplaying blog because I've never roleplayed before. Lucy is my first muse, I really wanted to make this because she means a lot to me ;u; I hope you link the way I portrait her, I try my best!
*hugs*
♡♡♡♡♡♡ :D
outofspy: ahaahsabkdjnas thanks!
Are you more of a cat or dog person?
Love your hair~ ^^ But ever thought about putting it down?
"Oh thank you so much! Yes I usually use it down when I'm at home"
Hi Louise, I am a fan of your work, and I admit, I am a bit nervous writing to you. Could you give me some tips on anatomy? I need a lot of work on it ,and I could use some help.
Well first of all I’d like to say I’m really flattered but there’s no need to be nervous talking to my ;w; I’m like uber friendly.
Secondly my mantra is always draw from life. There’s no better way to learn how to draw anything than to actually draw it from life. I just can’t stress the importance of it enough.
I don’t know how you personally feel about drawing from life but I know a lot of people are very reluctant to try it. A way around that is to make sure you keep drawing what you like to draw when you draw from life (tbh I just think it’s super important to what you want in the way you want). Find stock/pose artists that you like and draw the things that you want to be good at drawing. I know from personal experience that drawing from life can be difficult. It can be upsetting when you don’t feel confident with it and it can also be boring but I still set aside time to just sketch from life whenever I feel I can. It always pays off.
Another thing is to practice using construction. It makes anatomy and consistency in drawing much easier. There’s lots of ways in which construction can vary though, so it may take a lot of experimentation to find a way to make it work for you.
TL;DR – Draw from life. Use construction. Draw what you like. Experiment with methods and develop a way of drawing that is comfortable for you.
Ps. Remember these are just my tips and suggestions. Don’t do/draw anything you don’t want to.
Woweee a constant stream of messages. I can't believe all these people are chatting with me.
I love having these convos via tumblr messages though. It's like having pen-pals but without postage costs and three week waiting periods.
PS. Fearfulfirefly I am working on a reply to your message. I apologise in advance for how long it is.
