Ann Coulter's supported Mitt Romney in 2012 after he lost the election even when it was obvious he was a poor candidate.
Romney was the perfect candidate, and he was the president this country needed right now. It's less disheartening that a president who wrecked American health care, quadrupled gas prices, added $6 trillion to the national debt and gave us an 8 percent unemployment rate can squeak out re-election than that America will never have Romney as our president.
Indeed, Romney is one of the best presidential candidates the Republicans have ever fielded. Blaming the candidate may be fun, but it's delusional and won't help us avoid making the same mistakes in the future.

Mrs. Coulter, in her infinite wisdom, believes the President shouldn't negotiate with Democrats, completely bypass the second branch of government, and build the wall.
Like the 63 million Americans that voted for President Trump, I would like to see the wall built. Listening to the Ann Coulter will not build the wall any faster. Remember she helped gave us Mitt Romney and another 4 years of Obama.
Is she is intentionally trying to drive a wedge between the MAGA movement and our President? Despite her impressive resume of supporting failed candidates, she has no clue what the battle plan is. She is not a friend of this administration.
During the entire shutdown, President Trump forced the Democrats to reject their own platform on immigration more than once. Madam Speaker openly admitted the Democrats were not interested in funding border security in a private oval office meeting.

Several days later, Trump offered them everything they wanted and they still did except. Several Democrats was upset with the Speaker for rejecting it. There is a growing rift inside the Democrat Party right now between the moderate and hard left Democrats. President Trump is exploiting every bit of it.

President Trump offered everything the Democrats asked for. These were the same proposals the Democrats voted for in the in the past, now they reject their own platform and refused to open the government for federal workers.

So where are we?
1.Trump offers to reopen government if he gets border funding. Democrats say NO!
2.Trump offers Amnesty if Democrats fund the border security and the wall. Democrats say NO!
3.Trump asks the Democrats to come back to the negotiation table. Instead, they take extravagant trip to Puerto Rico and Hawaii while the federal workers suffered without pay.

4.The Democrats claim they will come back to the table when Trump reopens the government.

5. President Trump reopens the Government now the ball is back in the Democrat's court.
The Democrats were given every opportunity to work with President Trump, please their constituents by getting everything they wanted while taking credit for reopening the government. They failed at all three. Now they have 21 days or they lose everything.
