What was the last book you purchased? ⠀ One of mine was this gorgeous @waterstones edition of #TheNightCircus by @erinmorgenstern! Alright, hit me with your unpopular Disney opinions! ❄ Here's mine ... I didn't really like "Frozen" that much. It was ~okay~ but I don't think it was as worthy of all the hype. I missed Alan Menken's musical touch, and it just didn't enchant me the way so many other Disney movies have. That said, I've been hearing that "Frozen 2" is actually much better than the first one, and I have a 4-year-old niece, and my husband apparently wants to go see it in theaters soon anyway, so ... I'll probably be seeing it soon. 😆 . . Later today @loveyoumorestudio is releasing the first of their wintery/Christmas print sleeves of this year & I'm so excited. Happy Thursday! 🍂 What was your last 5 star read?? . . . Have you read any awesome 5 star reads lately?? I feel like I haven’t read nearly enough books that I absolutely LOVED this year, though I have read a few, with my most recent being *A Curse So Dark and Lonely* by Brigid Kemmerer, which was awesome. (Seriously, I’m STILL thinking about this book. 🥰). Happy Saturday! 🍂 Have you watched any awesome movies or tv shows lately?? . . . Is your weekend off to a good start so far?? I hope that it is! 🥰 Today I wanted to switch things up a little bit and ask everyone what movies and tv shows they have enjoyed recently! I’ve never been much of a watcher, (because my nose is usually stuck in a book), but I really would like to make time to watch more. Happy Saturday! 🍂 Have you picked out your first read of November yet?? If so, what are you currently reading? (Or planning to read??) . . . Have started a new book this month? (Or finishing up one from last month?) I have my first read all picked out and I’ve already started it. 🤓 A few years ago I started a little tradition to read *The Night Circus* every November, and I’m pretty thrilled to have this book as my first read of the month. (This is my third yearly re-read.) This book is super great, but the audiobook, which is narrated by Jim Dale, (who also narrates the Harry Potter books), is even better. The story is so magical, and I love having Jim read the book to me. (Also, I LOVE the covers for this book.) 🥰 What are you currently reading?? Happy Tuesday! 🍂 Have you purchased any new releases lately, or are you planning to buy any soon?? . . . Today is a MASSIVE new book release day, bookworms! Are you getting any new books today?? I have quite a few coming that I’m super excited for, including *Call Down the Hawk* and *Supernova*! There are a lot of other awesome books coming today as well, and since my son has walking pneumonia and can’t leave the house, that means I get to stay home and patiently wait to tackle the mail person as soon as they arrive with my books. 😂 What about you? Happy Sunday! 🍂 Do you have any favorite fairytale retellings?? . . . Have you had a good weekend, Bookworms?? My son and I both have a cold, and we have pretty much spent the whole weekend laying around. 🙈 I hope your weekend has been better than mine! . . . If you’ve known me for a while, then you probably know how much I LOVE fairytale retellings. There’s just something awesome about an author taking a classic and putting their own twist to it. 🥰 I especially love *Beauty and the Beast* retellings, and *A Curse So Dark and Lonely* is my most recent favorite.
