Mama’s and Papa’s you’re doing just fine ❤️💛💙 Your children are blessed to have you. • Today is the Feast of the Annunciation, when Mary found out she was going to be a Mama for the first time. And not just any Mama but the Mother of the Messiah. I imagine she could’ve been easily overwhelmed by the daunting task of parenthood that lay ahead of her. The responsibility of raising a child and a wise one at that who would lead the world in the hope of salvation. Parenthood is it’s own vocation, generally unpaid with no sick leave, and just as important as the Presidents of nations. We’re raising future leaders! Never forget to remember that God chose YOU to raise them. He’s equipped you with strength and every good gift you’ll need to see them Grow in Grace & Wisdom. YOU! Yes YOU! You are the only one uniquely qualified to love them, understand them and guide them in the ‘Way they should Go.’ If it weren’t the truth, then God would never have given them to you. He might have made someone else their mother and father. • Mary was blessed to be chosen. So are you! Children are a blessing from Heaven. Psalm 127:3 "Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward." • 💪🏼 You can do this! Love them for who they are. Love them with all you have been given. As the Father has loved you, love them. And He will see to it that you are equipped with everything you need to help them grow in Grace & Wisdom: wisdom, understanding, counsel, fortitude, knowledge, piety, and fear of the Lord (Isaiah 11:2-4). Put to use His gifts and trust him for the fruit of your womb. • 💙💛❤️ May you blessed to follow in the footsteps of Mary and give your all to the will of the Lord for yourself, your children and your family.
