Achilles sat at his desk, rubbing his temples in hopes to alleviate the stress headache that had been slowly growing since he got back to HQ. The cat was away and the fucking mice decided to set his guild on fire. Jarad was all too keen to give him a report of some of the happenings going on. One being the fight between Kitty and Radish; he wanted to say he was surprised. Truth was,  Kitty and Radish had similar personalities which was either going to cause them to bump heads or get along. They might have hit it off  too,  if it wasn’t for that fact that Kitty was a Circus member and Radish wasn’t a fan of that guild. 

Achilles had a soft spot for the young woman, she was funny, smart and he didn’t want to see anything happen to her. However,  she had been warned  early on not to ruffle feathers. If his guild said they didn’t want her around, he would have to side with them. So far, no one complained, that didn’t mean they wouldn’t. All he wanted was a nice home coming with Jude and Leo. Now he was stuck  playing bad cop... he’s least favorite thing to do. 

He lifted his head as he heard three sharp knocks  before the door opened and Kitty popped  her head in. He kept a neutral face as he waved her in as a catalyst guards closed the door behind her. “ Take a seat,” he said. Eyeing her as she tentatively came closer and sat down. They sat there quietly for a moment, letting her stew a bit. Lips pursed a slight frown on his face. “ So, you want to tell me what you’ve been up too while I was gone?”

Syphon slump down against the outside of her front door. Unsure why he always felt the need to come they're like this. when he was a complete mess. Deep down, the logical part of him knew this wasn't a good idea. Still, he ended up coming. Knocking on her door, a disappointed, sad look on her face before she finally relented and let him enter her home. He wish he could say that was the last time, but it became a pastime. Mostly on the nights he was very drunk and didn’t want to spend time with Randy or Mandy or some other player.  Normally after nights with Sol and definitely after that night with Padme. He would find himself not drunk but fairly tipsy. Kitty, didn’t have to take care of him so much on those nights  he wanted to have fun. To play cards and laugh, to sit quietly and just fall asleep with her hand in his. Tonight, he didn’t even bother knocking on the door. Her lights were off so she was either out or she was asleep. 

This was good enough.  Knowing that she was on the other side was calming. Kitty made the pain go away, even if she didn’t think so. Even if he could never tell her. She was a help to him, just knowing she was there. So, leaning his head back. Syphon closed his eyes as sleep took him. Or would've — if the door hadn’t flew open causing Syphon to fall and land on his back. Hitting his head against the floor of her cabin with a loud thud, “Shit.”  Opening his eyes to see a very confused and armed Kitty standing above him.

Rowan huffed as he sanded down the edges of the wooden plank. When he had learned that Cat was planning on opening a little shop , he had offered his help if she needed it. True to form, Cat was quick to call in the favor and Rowan glad to do whatever he could to help. . The place was coming along nicely;  after a coat of paint and some final touches. Cat’s boutique would be open for business. Standing up straight, Rowan stretched out his back. Hearing the familiar clacking of heels he turned to see Cat walking towards him with a glass of lemonade. “Are heels appropriate construction work attire?” smiling as he took the glass. Cat then,  held out a hat for him with her other hand.  Frowning, he took it chuckling   as the name of her boutique was sown into the front of the cap. “ and now I’m your walking ad campaign too. I’m going to have to start charging  for my services.” Rowan grinned he tucked his hair behind his ear as he put the cap on forward facing. Waiting for, Cat to give her final approval - seeing as she was the authority for all things fashionable. 

“ Do you have a guest list ready for your opening?” he asked turning his attention back on the shelf as he continued to sand it down. The question a leading one, it had been a couple of weeks since he had heard from Garrison. However, he had gotten word about his... antics as of late. Their violent falling out not withstanding. Rowan wanted to gauge and see how much Cat knew about what was going on with him. He didn’t want to keep secrets from her - learning quickly that keeping things from Cat wasn’t the best idea. This however was a little different, Garrison was going through some shit and given how he was acting out. Rowan didn't want Cat to get caught up in it... if only to spare her from seeing him in his current state. “ I figure it is going to be some be grand thing, knowing you.”

Achilles: I can’t tell you what to do Cat, i mean relationships issues are kind of my thing at the moment so I will say this. but no matter what happens... you know you’ve got me in your corner

Achilles: I know Garrison was a lot of first for you as you were for him in some instances. Don’t let those feelings cloud you judgement. Easier said then done ( believe me I know) just be careful okay.
