Featherclaw, Deadheart, Moonwhisper, Chestnutbark, and Silverfrost

Featherclaw - A gentle and skilful cat. Featherclaw is an excellent stalker of both prey and cats, even the most experienced warrior cannot detect them coming until it is too late, this makes them an excellent hunter and a cat that is often put on the front lines whenever their clan needs to attack. Featherclaw is a very polite cat that is always considerate of their clanmates, they are never pushy with their opinions and this makes them highly respected and admired even outside of their own clan, they are often called upon by their leader to help with any negotiations due to their respectful and convincing manner, 14/10

Deadheart - A serious and quiet cat. Deadheart tends to keep away from their clanmates, socialising just isn’t their thing and their negative view on the world doesn’t exactly do them any favours. Deadheart is always completely focused on the task at hand, they hate being interrupted but they won’t show it, they will just maintain the serious disposition that they always do, this disposition is what has led many cats to think that Deadheart is unfeeling, but in reality, Deadheart is very insecure and this front helps them deal with that, 15/10

Moonwhisper - An introverted and wise cat. Moonwhisper doesn’t like being in large crowds, so they will often sit on the edge of clan meetings, and usually won’t ask to attend gatherings, preferring to guard a quiet camp instead so they can be alone with their thoughts and reflect on things. Moonwhisper always seems to know what to do, and will shyly offer up their opinions when they feel that they are needed, and their leader will always try to follow Moonwhisper’s advice. Moonwhisper values peace above all else, so they will only fight if they have to, and they will always try and think of ways to get out of tense situations without a battle, 15/10

Chestnutbark- A friendly and hardworking cat. Chestnutbark is always warm and welcoming to cats, even if they have some nothing to deserve kindness, Chestnutbark believes in giving everyone a chance, and that a little kindness is often is all that is needed. Chestnutbark loves being in a clan, and they will always do their best to make sure they do their part to keep the clan running, and will often go above and beyond what is expected of them, they will even willingly do apprentice duties is there are not enough apprentices to do them, 13/10

Silverfrost - An intelligent and skilful cat. Silverfrost likes to use logic and reasoning to guide them, they will never act on impulse, they will always carefully think things through, always trying to keep emotions out of their thought process when they need to make a choice. Silverfrost always makes sure they train at least once in a quarter moon in order to ensure their skills are still sharp and that they are ready for anything, and they will try and teach their clanmates any new moves they manage to come up with, 15/10

So this is my first non Swan Crossing post!! This is actually a drawing I made of two of my OCs, Vineleg (left) and Featherclaw (right). I don’t want to get too into the story right now,, but expect to see a lot more of these two in the future.

Story request: A Milkfur and Featherclaw argument (( Im so sorry- ))

Spilled Milk

Time taken: Idk, two hours?

Milkfur moved up the path to Featherclaw’s den. She was seething. She couldn’t believe he would do something like that. Well, perhaps she could. Her fur bristled as she prepared to give him a piece of her mind. He was lying outside his den, eating a piece of fresh-kill and looking extremely self-satisfied. He looked up. “Oh hey Mil-” His expression rapidly darkened. “What now?”

    “What now?! Did you think it’d get past without my noticing?” She was angry. He blinked 

“Get… what past without your noticing?”

    She gritted her teeth. “Does the name Graystripe ring any bells?” 

    “What? Oh…” he stopped.”You’re going to fight me about that?”

    “Really, Featherclaw. You’re own clan! How could you?!”

    “What? It’s not like I killed him!”

    Milkfur bared her teeth. “So you knocked him into the river instead?!”

    Featherclaw stood up. “I thought you’d be on my side with this one. Who told you what happened?”

    She glared. “I heard the apprentices gossiping as I was coming back from taking care of Songkit.”

    Silence fell for a few moments. This was a delicate point between them, and her bringing it up was no mistake. A couple of days prior, Songkit had been seriously scratched on her right side when Featherclaw got into a scuffle with Marshpaw. Waspstar was forced to pin his deputy down before the fight ended. When questioned about the whole affair, it was found that Marshpaw had been gossiping about Milkfur and Featherclaw behind their backs. Unfortunately, it was overheard by Featherclaw. Equally unfortunately, the apprentice had been repeating back things that he had overheard Blizzardwing saying at the last gathering. 

    Featherclaw knew she was guilt tripping him, so he wasn’t quite sure why it was working. He decided the conversation had gotten off track and steered it back on course.

    “That has nothing to do with this! What did they tell you?”

    “Only that you forced Graystripe to run all the way to the river, then pushed him in when he defended Hawk! Even so close to the thunderpath! You know how dangerous those are! After all…” She stopped. She realized she had crossed a line in this argument. Featherclaw’s eyes were filled with dark fury. His voice was a low growl as he spoke.

    “...Those who defend murderers share their fate.”

    Milkfur looked at him. She saw that there was no reasoning with him. 

“Fine.” She spat, her ears flat against her head. “But I’m staying with Songkit tonight. She needs me more than you ever did.” 

Her voice was a snarl. She saw the betrayal in his eyes. This wasn’t something she had done before, or even threatened. Ever since the day he lost his brother they had always cuddled together, every night. She knew how much he relied on that. She knew, as much as he denied it with every fiber of his being, that he needed that. She also knew that this behavior had to stop. He had to learn that there were consequences to his actions. 

    “Milkfur-”

    “No. I’m done with this, Featherclaw. You can’t keep doing this. Where’s the sweet, sincere cat I knew before? The one who was always ready to climb a tree, or get half drowned in the lake because he tried to catch a fish? Who, every night, cried at my side and made me promise I would never leave??” She was crying now. “Don’t force me to break that promise.” She turned and walked away, never looking back.

    Featherclaw stood there for several minutes, barely able to comprehend what she had just said. Suddenly, he turned around, rushing for the camp exit, determined that no one would see the tears spilling down his face.

Oh, don’t be sorry, angst gives me life! This was a rollercoaster to write, let me tell you. But I had a lot of fun, believe it or not. Now, credits...

Milkfur: ...THATS your plan for dealing with this?

Featherclaw: That's my plan for dealing with everything. I have hundreds of arguments and im gonna win this way! :D
