I was trying to capture the sheen of the feathers but also the iridescence. The colors change depending on the angle the light hits them. I don’t think I got what I was looking for! I tried a flash in 2 shots but I didn’t get what I was trying to achieve. With or without the flash peacock feather R beautiful & I like these shots anyways.

I’ve had these feathers 4 a quite a while & they changed colors. I had them in a vase in the bathroom. A lady who raises peacocks told me hers have never changed color but she kept hers in a vase in the dining room. She was puzzled mine changed. If U get any peacock feathers don’t keep the in the bathroom.

Do U like the bokeh shot or the non-bokeh version. Do U like the aqua border?
