Featured Speaker: Elizabeth Ruth of @biglizconjure Elizabeth Ruth is a practicing Rootworker and Diviner who, in 2015, relocated to central Ohio after spending her adult life as a resident of Chicago, She was raised by her maternal grandparents in a small town in northeastern Ohio. Her grandmother was an astrologer who communicated with the dead. When she was growing up, Gede (Vodou spirits of the Dead) always visited members of her family right before someone died. The spirits of her Ancestors were also frequent visitors in her home, and they continue to visit to this day. She also spent vacations in her youth with her paternal grandmother and family in Alabama where she learned of the spirituality, superstitions, and customs of the American south.
