Have you got any idea about what happened to Ronald? I haven't seen him since Book of the Atlantic..
There might have been some punishment for his actions, particularly his failure to capture Undertaker... and creating more paperwork, while aboard the Campania. However, any punishment must have been quite light, since we’ve seen Grelle again since then. We learned (during the circus arc) that Grelle gets excited by any chance of running into Sebastian; Grelle was happy to be sent to collect circus troupe members’ souls at Phantomhive Manor. It was a disappointment for both Grelle and William that Sebastian was at Kelvin’s manor instead of Phantomhive’s.
For the most part, Ronald must be going about his usual day-to-day existence as a reaper: viewing cinematic records, harvesting souls, trying his best to avoid overtime and extra paperwork, flirting with the eligible ladies (reaper and human) that he meets. Unlike Grelle, Ronald has no particular personal interest in Sebastian or the Phantomhives... and he was clearly bested by both Sebastian and Undertaker. Therefore, he’s probably not nearly as keen on taking assignments revolving around this situation.
We might see him again soon, though. He did make the odd promise to Mey-Rin, didn’t he... just before he boarded the ship. I hope his next encounter with Mey-Rin isn’t like his second encounter with the young lady from the lower class quarters of the Campania. Because that’s when he collected her soul. Regardless of whether Mey-Rin ends up on the collection list, Ronald might get sent to deal with souls at Heathfield Manor, since that’s where Mey-Rin is currently stationed.
And, whether or not he shows up at Heathfield Manor, he’s likely to show up again at some point... along with other reapers, including ones we don’t often see — maybe even ones we’ve never seen before — to confront Undertaker (and Sebastian).
Reminder that if you're my mutual I care deeply about you and value you very very much

It was Valentine's Day,( spent alone for me, again, thanks for asking) and I get irritated when it's said that the day was "invented" by corporations. No friends, it wasn't. Corporations didn't "invent" Saint Valentine. They do however use the day as a marketing tool. Just the same as any other holiday. Σ(-᷅_-᷄๑)
My business is still dead in the water. I've been posting stuff on Facebook and Instagram, and getting some views, but nothing has come from it yet. (;*´Д`)ノ
I researched chocolate (along with champagne and roses) for Trivia, and I really craved some chocolate cake after that. But diabetes is a bitch. Booo. But still...(´⌣`ʃƪ)
We've finally decided to let the cats roam after the flea disaster. They seem happy, and so am I. ♡(•ི̛ᴗ•̛)ྀ
So glad the weather is finally warming up. Really tired of the cold. But weather change is bad for my allergies. (⑅ ‘﹃’ )
I finally watched The Mandalorian. Really great show. I had no idea that Jon Favreau wrote it. “ψ(`∇´)ψ

hi! do you have any idea on the sales of kuroshitsuji manga ? i mean i do see the numbers but are they good enough ? would you say its underrated in any way ?
I saw that some other blogs have received similar asks, like @funtomrabbits. That’s not something I really examine, and I’m not sure what you mean by “good enough”. For whom?
I’d say the biggest problem with sales is too many readers are getting most of their content for free. And that’s become much easier with later chapters and volumes, thanks to increased social media and sharing options. So, they don’t feel compelled to buy the ereader or printed editions. Not even for the extra content that’s harder to find otherwise.
The only other major issue that comes to mind is how most of the Black Butler fans I randomly meet outside of Tumblr assume I’m talking about the anime... because they didn’t know it was also a manga, let alone that it’s ongoing... and it’s always somehow a shock to them that the first couple seasons they so adore veer off from the manga’s path. The “Book of...” series have thrown them for a loop... if they stuck with the anime long enough to see the revamp. I find that stores, such as Hot Topic and Spencer’s, who sell the anime-based merch but not the manga... are part of that equation. Some of their employees are still unaware of this fact, even when they count themselves as fans. What would happen if popular chains like Hot Topic expanded to carry manga? They already carry some comic books and magazines....
Other than those observations, I typically stick to literary/character analysis and shitposts.
