Four Russian wolfhounds arrive by limousine at the Westminster Kennel Club's annual Dog Show at Madison Square Garden, February 13, 1956. The owner of the dogs, George E. Mosley of Greenwich, Connecticut, made sure they rode in comfort, with blankets and a chauffeur. Left to right are: Baron Wolfschmidt; Lady Wolfschmidt; Lady Gretchen; and Nijinsky of Barnoff, with chauffeur Jim Colby in the rear.

I went out last night in my K. Howard tribute look! I sang "All You Wanna Do" at karaoke (quite badly) and dedicated it to her memory. She was just a kid, one who experienced more trauma in her short life than anyone could deserve. I like to think that she'd appreciate me going out and having fun in her honour; living my life the way she didn't get to live hers. 💜 R.I.P. Katherine Howard 💜 💜 February 13, 1542 💜

President Herbert Hoover, seated on the dais in the background, gave what he considered the farewell speech of his administration. His term would end on March 4, when Franklin D. Roosevelt was sworn in as the 32nd president.
