last year’s FebHue had featured one single throwback to defunct relationship Maci/Hypnos - this year I’ve swapped that out for ANOTHER of Maci’s ex-pairingsss, aka really just once again an excuse to draw background “fake OC” Leuke, creating this little display of bitchy lust long lost <33 I feel like i have to draw Leuke every single art challenge I do because she ONLY exists in the realm of whatever i’m drawing in my free time, she still has not and doesn’t need to make an actual appearance IN the elysium’verse and so stupid shit like this is the only way she lives on lmfaoooo

my favorite nonsense AU (????FUTURE?????) couple ship making another self-indulgent appearance for this year’s FebHue! ONE  god of eternal torture & hell + ONE god of totally insane temperament & reality-warping hallucinatory dreamscape powers = a really flirty FWB sitch......

(.....that REALLY only ever started bc their older siblings are inseparable and literally no other reason, they’re both so fucking annoying to each other insofar as theyve “broken up” about 50 times and Raz pretends he doesnt know him - if you must know my specific vision of exactly how this crackship operates) i actually drew some stupid companion doodles elaborating on my thoughts that i was gonna s tick on this but im not posting them yet cause i have more to add - ANYWAY -

again recap this year’s FebHue collection is a randomized shuffle of the same couples last year scattered across these palettes and today its the new Hyppasi day! i woke them up for this year’s pose  but oops he just fell asleep again... standin g up...,,,,, no one is surprised (least of all Pasi, she’s about to do the same thing)

doing this random has been really funny bc last year i conceptually brainstormed exactly who each palette made me think of - this year it’s all just up in the air - and so far for every one ive drawn, i finish it and im like Oh Wait This Palette looks GREAT This Way! this is no exception loool they are rocking these bi colors!! i wonder if any of the upcoming prompts just fully will not match their couple at all lmao. guess we’ll see!

FEB-HUE-ARY - Part One

once again all Elysium couples for Valentine’s month and we’re starting off SO strong with some neon Euriales!!

quick note about this month’s FebHue for me! our elysium characters are all rainbow with v specific color schemes so for color palette prompts i always like to kinda match up characters based on the colors they’re supposed to be colored in as. that’s what i did last year in picking which pairings to draw on which day! HOWEVER this year I thought it would be fun to take almost those exact same couples from ‘22, and shuffle them back into those exact same prompts - so instead of matches based on first impressions, i have these matches completely blindly shuffled and selected based on random chance! it is... difficult but really fun i am making it work!

for example i fuckin never would have looked at these colors and thought eury&epi but it WORKS SOMEHOW SOOOO WELL Im actually obsessed w how this came out lmfaooo -
