I really think I want to run for the chairman of the federal reserves, how legit would it be to get paid to watch over nothing. Fucking Badass!
Federal Reserves Conspiracy
Earlier today I had to explain to someone the functions of the Federal Reserve Bank and address the conspiracy theory that the reserves are owned by one person. If I am wrong, somebody correct me... There are twelve Regional Federal Reserve Banks established by Congress that serve as operating arms to our nation's central banking system and are organized similarly to private corporations. There are member banks for the FRBs who by law, invest 3% of their capital as stock and cannot sell or trade their stock. They also cannot use that stock as collateral to borrow money. These member banks receive dividends of 6% per year from the Reserve Banks and get to elect each Reserve Bank's Board of Governors. These private banks also have a minority voice in regulating the nation's money supply and setting targets for short-term interest rates. The majority vote comes from the Federal Open Market Committee, consisting of a dozen voting members; five who come from the banks and the remaining seven, known as the Fed's Board of Governors are appointed by the President. Some major stakeholders: Rothschild's of London; Lazard Brothers of Paris; Israel Moses Seaf of Italy; Kuhn, Loeb & Co. of Germany and New York; Warburg & Company of Hamburg, Germany; Lehman Brothers of New York; Goldman, Sachs of New York; Rockefeller Brothers of New York. Some of these names may sound familiar as crucial contributors to presidential campaigns and owners of major media outlets. There may not be one owner of the Federal Reserves, but do not be fooled; this is a disgustingly corrupt system.
