federica practically deflated at the words of her wife. anahita had a real talent of putting federica second to her work - without fail. "oh," she said and felt absolutely foolish for believing that she'd have some quality time with her wife, and get some attention. "right, you won't be disturbed. the kids have all been put to bed and you know, when the little one cries, i'll get 'em." she spoke, her voice monotonous as she closed her silk robe and started to blow out the candles. she really did try. she wanted to make her wife happy and provide her all she wished for but apparently, it wasn't necessary. "i am sorry for making all this...unnecessary fuss. i'm sure you needed this precious minute you wasted talking to me, to spend on your story." she told her - her tone very sarcastic.
