It's not common, but every so often I run across a baby mouse that has crawled into a discarded peanut shell. It's usually body armor but sometimes it can be headgear also.

I call them Peanut Knights. This fuzzy has a quite stylish open-face helmet!

There is a random female domestic r.at wandering around my backyard.

She is so healthy and such a lovely blue color.

I panicked last night when i saw her, so i rushed over to the r.at shed to check on my blue ra.t breeding project. None of them have escaped. No holes in their cages, nothing.

Y'all there is a beautiful female stranger r.at wandering my back yard. Where did she come from????

I know shes a pet because shes a norway, her coat color is blue, and shes really not scared of people. I walked up to her and was a foot away before she bounded off.

What a bizarre situation.

So, being as I will be breeding kingsnakes for a long time and I have had at least one liza/rd eater in each clutch, I have decided to breed Mediterranean house gec/kos as feeders, at least until I have a good stock of them ready. I hate having to drive an hour for lizards so a breeding pair is exactly what I needed. Only the female is pictured, the male is way small and hard to catch :P

Some rat kids that I held back a couple of weeks ago to replace a tub that I had to cull due to bad parenting/eating babies. All will be very sweet and came from good parents so I'm excited.

When I brought Irene home 2 weeks ago, she was a bitty 180 grams. She was also, apparently, about a week pregnant! Despite her young body and small size, she gave birth to 8 very healthy babies yesterday. She is doing a great job and keeping them all *very* well fed!

We are referring to the mystery baby daddy as ‘John Buck’. You know, like John Doe? But Buck. Because he’s a male r.at. *gigglesnort*
