FEED Teams up with Target
In 2011, the notable FEED canvas bags were seen in every major retail store, raising awareness of the world hunger epidemic. Proceeds went towards The Feed Foundation's projects to provide food in poor regions all over the globe.
Now, just two years later, Feed has teamed up with Target to provide products donating to FEED USA in effort to provide meals to families here in America.
FEED's top-notch marketing strategy is to provide consumers with the bigger picture. With each item you purchase, there's a number of how many meals you're providing to those in need.
Example: One FEED USA bike helmet = 28 meals.
That's not all. This collection may don an array of FEED canvas bags, but it also branches out from clothing, to house ware, to recreational (Hello, bicycle for charity!).
What FEED has accomplished here, in addition to providing a stylish patriotic flair to their line, is provide affordable products that go towards a powerful cause.
Because let's face it, if you're not shopping at Target then this should be an obvious incentive to start.
For those looking for a more fashion-forward way to help the cause, FEED has also collaborated with fashion designer, Rachel Roy, for a limited-edition line of tote bags.
As shown above, CEO of FEED, Lauren Bush (left), and designer, Rachel Roy both sporting the FEED 100 India Bag. Inspired by the country's textiles, these bags were handmade in India and the proceeds go towards providing 100 school meals there.
Rachel Roy prides herself in her Indian heritage, and shares with followers her stories of traveling back to India on her website.
