#Justice4Daisy Campaign in Full Swing
The rape case involving victims 14-year-old Daisy Coleman and another unidentified 13-year old girl have caused a firestorm in the small town of Maryville, Missouri.
Much like the Steubenville case, the town has been split into two sides where many sympathized for the girls involved, while the others erupted into an angry mob of victim-blaming.
Now gaining nationwide attention, supporters of Daisy Coleman are coming out of the woodwork to protest the fact that out of the three boys arrested for sexual assault and distributing child pornography, their charges were dropped.
Daisy Coleman claims that on the night of January 8, 2012, she and her friend snook out to meet with three male classmates, one of whom was senior football player, Matthew Barnett.

When Coleman and her friend arrived, she claimed Barnett handed her a tall glass of "clear stuff" and told her to drink it. That was the last thing she remembered.
According to videos that circulated around Maryville High School, the two girls were filmed and photographed having sex with two of the boys there (the third was recording it).
Daisy's friend, who had denied drinking alcohol that night, remembers vaguely what happened that night.
The next morning, Daisy was found unconscious on her family's lawn, nearly freezing to death.
A rape kit concluded that she was sexually assaulted, with several vaginal tears found. And yet, even with the photographic evidence and a rape kit confirmation, none of the boys faced jail time.
The 'Anonymous' campaign has been persistent on raising awareness that these boys should face justice.
Matthew Barnett has been the most notorious figure in this case due to his prominent family ties. Having a grandfather who was a longtime member of the House of Representatives, his wealthy Republican status has questioned if the rumors of 'calling in favors' for Matthew were true.
The two other boys involved are now both on athletic teams at Northwest Missouri State University, and Barnett is attending University of Central Missouri, his grandfather's alma mater.
Adding insult to injury, Barnett's Twitter page has now been locked after tweets like, "If her name begins with A B C D E F G H I J K L M N O P Q R S T U V W X Y Z, she wants the D." caused an uproar.
The Coleman family, however, faced scrutiny from their hometown for their daughter's involvement. Daisy's mother was let go from her job, and Daisy was dismissed from the school's cheerleading squad.
The family eventually relocated, and the children transferred schools. Daisy has been in routine therapy but has already experienced two suicide attempts. Just last April, the Coleman's house in Maryville was burned down.

Now with the attention this case has received, there is a #Justice4Daisy campaign which will coincide with a peaceful protest at the Nodaway County Courthouse in Maryville.

"Drinking Buddies" redefines 'unscripted', 10 Famous Movie Ad-libs
When Joe Swanberg directed "Drinking Buddies", he wanted the actors to have complete control over their characters---which is why the film is completely unscripted.
With the exception of some major plot points, the cast improvised the dialogue. Swanberg boasted in an interview that because of the creative freedom he allowed his actors, there was a more realistic back story for the characters.
"Drinking Buddies", starring Olivia Wilde (Cowboys & Aliens), Jake Johnson (New Girl), Anna Kendrick (Pitch Perfect), and Ron Livingston (Office Space), surrounds two craft brewery employees (Wilde & Johnson) and the complicated relationships they find themselves in.
Don't mistake this movie for another slow indie drama. The natural flow of dialogue between the actors is what transcends their complicated love stories into relatable romances.
With movies being famous for mostly the script, it's hard to believe that some of the most well-known lines from movies were in fact, improvised. Here's my list of Top 10 Famous Ad-Libs in Movies:
WATCH: Chief of Australian Army Addresses Sex Scandal
Last week, Lieutenant General David Morrison, released a video addressing the intolerable behavior of Australian Army personnel accused of sending sexually explicit material within the military's email network.
So far, three men have been suspended from their army positions for breaching Australia's Telecommunications Law, which prohibits transferring explicit material without both party's consent.
The emails in question, which supposedly included graphic images, have implicated more than 90 people's involvement in the army.
Lt. Morrison claimed that the sexist culture of the military needs to be put to an end. "The army has to be an inclusive organization", Morrison said.
Given the magnitude of military's involvement in the investigation, Morrison deems the situation to be worse than the April 2011 scandal where two military cadets were arrested for filming themselves having sex with female cadets in their dorm rooms, and live streaming it so their male colleagues could watch.
While the sex was consensual, the female cadets had no knowledge they were being filmed. The women involved in the current investigation were also unaware that they were being exposed online. Morrison has already apologized to some of the women.
This video address has catapulted Morrison into a feminist hero as a ranking official who is taking a stand to ensure the integrity of the Australian Army. Morrison notes to all military personnel, "If you become aware of any individual degrading another, then show moral courage and take a stand against it."

With the Marriage Equality bill being a prevalent topic in the United States currently, this film offers a perspective of the government's heavy influence on how gay culture is viewed in Uganda.

Yesterday, the city of Boston was shaken by the explosions that killed 3 and injured over 20 people. Being a student in the Boston area, I saw the impact of harm on innocent participators and spectators and how it affected our college home. The resilient citizens of Boston are taking action to relieve the city, and there are plenty of ways to help out. As President Obama said in yesterday's address, "The people of Boston will continue to respond in the same proud and heroic way that they have thus far — and their fellow Americans will be right there with them."
