European Robin (Erithacus rubecula) adult, posturing with insects in beak, by Adam Swaine Via Flickr: I was really hopeful that this Robin would go into full threat posture with beak pointing upward and breast feathers spread to expose as much red as possible...instead even better got the beautiful bird insects in beak and they have a nest with a brood nearby!
