A quick peep into our vermicompost bin. Most people do this for their garden but as my soil is already at a healthy stage, my purpose for it is actually to amend the humanure pile. All these hungry critters will make quick work of the of what we have accumulated. Chopped up some fresh greens to add on top of the pile so that our friend don’t dry out in the sun as well as to keep them fed while they work their way down. It’s kind of funny when you think about it. Using worm poop for break down human poop, to feed trees that in turn make food for more poop. The cycle of poop.
