What an experience to race a mile on a one-of-a-kind track above London (see 2nd photo!) // Any runner will be familiar with ‘Flow’ or ‘The Zone’ - we could have been racing anywhere in the world and it wouldn’t have seemed much different... though if it was down a mountainside we might have been smiling a bit more! // All I was focused on was my body, the fastest line, and my fellow competitor, who some of you will recognise as @rickylightfoot - a firefighter, proud dad, and one of the strongest, humblest, fell & mountain runners on the planet. (Nothing wrong with his flat-speed either!
