Does anyone else ever wish that competition shows were way less dramatic and cringy?

Like I’d love to watch shows about people with incredible talent in music, cooking, art, tattooing, etc without all of the “mY mOtHeR DiEd wHeN i wAs fOuR aNd iF i dOnT WiN sHe wOnT bE pRoUd oF mE” and all of the “their person going home is…………………………………………………………………………………………………………..,,,,,.,,.,.,.,..,,,,,,,.,.,.,,….:,,,,,,,,. book 4 korra is the ultimate korra

The struggles Book 4 Korra goes through is unmatched. We all know that physically, nothing can beat the avatar state. Like ozai straight up fled when aang had his glow up; book 3 korra beat zaheer, the 2nd airbender to fly--ever, while severely poisoned. The avatar state ain’t something to be messed with huhnny. So the fact that most of Korra’s struggles are so personal, like whether she is strong enough to be the avatar, I find so refreshing as an older fan. They are more understandable and relatable struggles; the insane amount of responsibility the avatar has for the whole goddamn world is waaaaaayyyy toooo much for a single person so naturally there would be personal battles. okay that’s all. bye.
