Feeling bummed

Tonight is the weekly adventure for my D&D group, and I have to stay home sick with the stomach flu (or whatever the heck it is that's making my digestive system act like an auction house.)

And I've been looking forward to this all week! This was gonna be the first time we'd use the new airship to sail over Chult and start covering some real ground. And my first time using the Wand of the War Mage I was able to trade for.

One of those nights.....

Tonight at dinner with my parents I got a message about my data usage and how I've used quite a lot in a short period of time. At my house we have been without internet because our dsl line wasn't working and I used my phone as a hotspot to get other devices working. While eating out my dad commented that well I'm a stay at home mom of course I use the internet what else was I supposed to do. In the last couple of weeks I have been dealing with what am I going to do since my baby is entering transitional kindergarten and it's from 8:45-2:10 everyday. Both my sister and dad thinks that I have time to get a job and it shouldn't be hard, but they seemed to have forgotten logistics like who will take the kids to school, pick them up and what happens when they are on vacation or when they are sick. My husband works a lot, and at least 3 times a week he works an hour or so away, really depends on traffic, and he leaves our house super early and gets home after 5 and later. If I went back to work I would need to hire someone to pick up my kids and watch them while I am working and I know plenty of people do it, the reason I stayed home was because it's cheaper for me to stay home. I'm active and volunteer my time at the school and someday I hope I can take one of the part time jobs or even full time one that can be worked around my kids schedule. I am lucky that my mom can help me out when she can but she works and my husband can't pitch in. Both my kids aren't old enough to walk home or stay home by themselves yet, I have been panicking about all of this and tonight's dinner reminded me that I need to figure something's out.
