It doesn't make me uncomfortable. It makes me hungry.
nurse gerard. she would administer me a lethal dose of her drug of choice and hold my hand so sweetly as i died. the end
obsessed with this phenomenon in the notes on a scandal tag (also seen on AO3) where people are like oh yeah I liked the idea of fucking my teacher who looks like cate blanchett but they made it too Icky in the movie :( au where she's your college professor.
like lmao I understand the idea of wanting to liberate a character from a shitty canon or even changing their bad choices if those choices are not treated with their appropriate weight by the narrative. but um. the thing where sheba has an "affair" with a 15yo boy is both her entire plot and the entire POINT of her character. the movie (along with the book, for that matter) heavily emphasizes how young the teen boy is, and makes it very clear that any unique "maturity" sheba sees in him is her own self-delusion. the POINT is that she's shitty and immature it's not a "mistake" it's the entire premise.
the urge to release my 30 drafts that are in the queue cuz im bored vs. not wanting to spam or overwhelm.
