25. What other websites or resources do you use most often when you write?

I could not tell you how often I've reread the transcript for the portal scene to get the Stan twins dialog on the GF wiki. And Thesaurus.com Mostly the wiki for references when describing places in the show or characters. I tend not to worry too much about accuracy when it comes to fic writing, as GF already has time line that means nothing and a history that is bizare. Anything could be happening in there.

34. What aspects of your writing are inspired by/taken from your real life?

I may or may not have mentioned it before, but I tend to write characters feeling/experiencing emotions very... I'm not poetic, I suppose I could say. I tend to go with describing physical sensations, or just plainly stating what they're feeling. This is because I tend to feel emotions this way. I either go 'huh my chest it tight and my breathing is weird' and only later go 'ooooh right. Anxiety attack' or 'I am currently experiencing happiness in this moment. This is a good moment for me.' 'I am being impatient because I am being overstimulated/irritated by something.' 'there is a dark void in my chest, devouring the center like a physical sensation.' ah, depression.

Etc etc. you know how it is. Or maybe don't. In any case, my writing style tends to reflect the way I think in general, with me attempting to translate the images in my mind into words to paint pictures in others.

Other than that...

Some of my works, sometimes helpfully titled 'bleh' are things I write when I'm in dark moods. The short fic about Stan getting paralyzed for example, was written when I'd received grim news that someone in my family might require major spinal surgery, and that there was a chance they'd never walk again. It thankfully wasn't as severe, and they got a much gentler surgery and are fine.

But they could have been, and in that period of uncertainty I decided to write about Stan getting paralyzed to work some feelings out about it. Most of the hospital scene was written then, and I finished the ending after they'd been cleared and so tried to end it on a slightly lighter note, with Stan with Ford and the end note that he would get taken care of, because Ford loves his brother.

So I was looking at the Unend season 2 image upside down for cosplay reasons (Normally. That’s fine. Not staring for any other reasons...) and noticed the logo is the same mirrored upside down. Very cool!
