It is good to feel small beneath the sparkling northern lights, small beside the mighty river. Nature is so close to us up here. My troubles and difficulties just shrivel up. I like being insignificant.

You ever feel like you're unimportant. Like you just don't matter. No one would notice if you just disappeared? Me right now
Kindness
Everyone has something they can contribute to the world: kindness
To anyone out there who feels they have no purpose, make it spreading kindness
To anyone out there who thinks the world would be better without them, don’t let it be. Make it better though kindness
To anyone who is frustrated with the negativity in the world, kill it with kindness
In many ways, we are insignificant. The vast majority of people are not going to change the world. But within our families, our communities, and our lives, we have control over how we treat those we interact with. When in doubt, try kindness

Just like that... Nothing in a blink of an eye How did I become like this so quickly when I had mapped out each possible step? I don't know how to move past this constant heaviness I feel I've been fighting it off but it pushes me down like a rock I can't tell if I'm dealing with the same problem I faced years ago or if I'm just aimless and all this was self-induced I don't know how to go about myself I know I am motivated yet at the same time these ambitions won't come out of me with full force....I'm weighed down by boughts of mental entrapments and fear of the unknown This lack of structure after years of planned executions arranged by others confuses me on how I move on from here. The truth is, I do not even know how to settle or situate myself after all this was finished. After all, it was like my life ended right there and then when I got that paper. What is there to do with yourself when all your time you didn't think about what would happen after 4 years and you established those 4 years as your "eternal" lifestyle/routine? I feel drained ...I lack the same vitality I used to feel just merely in a matter of weeks....I feel like I'm in some strange young-life crisis that is considered to be insignificant relative to age ...and if I try explaining how I feel..I would not be taken seriously or be given the cold shoulder when all I wish for is to get out of this trapped state With every high, there are lows. And I didn't suspect that it would arrive rapidly. It snuck up on me...
Obsession
That feeling when you want to be someone's healthy mutual obsession.

Am I?
I am stuck in the perpetual darkness that is my mind, Drowning in a sea of words that even I don't understand. How could one man dream to understand that which they cannot comprehend? Man is nothing more than endless wandering and wondering For he bears the weight of his mind, which is empty except for his own thoughts And it is such a heavy burden to bear, the need to understand. The necessity to know all that Is. Man can not dream to know, to understand. All he can do is dream. But how can I dream if I am burdened? How can I fly if the weight is too much to bear? When knowledge is power and if I have neither, am I weak? Or is that my burden to be part of Man because I Am? Am I? Am I a part or am I just a part? Another cog to be replaced after I'm worn and old. Another screw so stripped, but still I struggle to stay put where I am placed. I did not choose this. But I will try. I will try to know, and I will try to understand for it is my nature. But I am denied the pleasure of knowing Am I? Or do I choose this ignorance because I dare to think it is better, that it is easier.. Than daring to know (does poetry count if it doesn't rhyme?)
