mirror mirror on the wall,
oh how it will be fun when i see you fall.
roses are wilted, to hell you will be led,
you will regret the past until you're old and dead.
hear my final words,
for now the only way i move is forwards.
if you didn't want this song,
then maybe you shouldn't have been so wrong.
in the dark you'll see my face,
that dark stare, you wish you could erase.
i promise, my dear,
i will make sure you break and fear.
i will haunt your thoughts,
and watch as your mind slowly rots.
i will watch your world burn,
the pain to feel, it's now your turn.
don't look for me,
for my figure you will never see.
mirror mirror on the wall,
oh how im excited to see your downfall
Synopsis: Ly turns up at TK’s house late at night with the children.
2021
TK watched as Ly sat down on the couch, a deep sigh leaving her lips as she ran her fingers over her face. She’d turned up in the middle of the night, Jaesun and the twins with nothing but a small suitcase filled with only the children’s clothes.
“Do you want to talk about it?” TK asked softly.
“No,” Ly sighed and leaned forward, “I want to sleep but there are so many things running through my head,”
He nodded, “You can stay for as long as you need, Ly, Mina isn’t going to complain about seeing her cousins every day,”
Ly smiled, “I hope I don’t intrude too much, I can take care of Mina during the day for you, I’m home all the time now because of the girls”
Ruffling his cousin’s hair, TK glanced at the phone on the table that was furiously vibrating with messages and phone calls. Ly turned the phone over and covered her face again.
“Do you want a drink?” TK asked.
“Yes please, it’s been a long night,” Ly choked out, “What am I suppose to do? I’m back to being a single mother with three children now, as if the public didn’t hate me enough already,”
Placing a bottle of whiskey down in front of his cousin, TK didn’t even bother to give her glass, she just needed the whole damn bottle.
“You can always go back to Vietnam,” He stated, “Or Thailand, you need a break too Ly,”
She opened the bottle and her face twisted in disgust as Ly took a long swing.
“I’m so finished with dating,” She shook her head, “We really are cursed,”
TK pursed his lips, “Probably, I gave up,”
“To giving up,” Ly whispered and raised the bottle.

She couldn’t see anything. She couldn’t hear anything. Her fingers were numb. The darkness consumed everything. The only feeling that she had left was the tear-jerking pain that was coming from her back and feeling worthless in her heart. She couldn’t think about anything. She couldn’t recall how she got there, what had happened to her, her friends…. her name.
She could only see the abyss below her. Accepting her dark surrounding as her breath and heart slowed.
“K…ir….” Slight noises were heard.
She opened her eyes again, only to see a small flickering dot in the distance.
That light.
She knew it.
“Ka…r…!!” The noises were coming from the light. The light was getting bigger, but it was flickering due to the darkness around it.
She tried to move towards the light.
The pain from her back halted her movements.
The darkness pushed her back.
She gagged as she tried to breathe again.
It was like she was drowning.
“KAIRI!!” The voice called more clearly, the light started to show a form of a boy. His hand reaching out to her.
She held her chest, still trying to breathe while reaching out with her other hand to the boy.
He shouldn’t be here!
She needed to save him.
He shouldn’t suffer for her weakness.
Her mistakes.
As the boy in the light approached, she could only let her arms float in the air as her eyes became heavy and darkness consumed her view once more.
“Kairi?”
“Kairi!”
“Kairi!! I’m sorry!”
“I couldn’t keep you safe.”
“I’m here now.”
Her eyes fluttered open as she looked around her surroundings to see a clear blue sky above her. Before she could realise where she was, she shot up in a panic as she started to recollect what had happened. She was fighting with her friends when she had been grabbed by one of the Organisation members, Xenmas. She was taken to Master Xehanort where he had put her under a sleeping spell. The last thing she remember was hearing Sora call her name before an intense pain came from her back before spreading everywhere else.
Sora!
She looked next to her to see the very boy that had jumped in the dark to save her, who held her hand tightly with his hand as he sat next to her. The same smiley, happy-go-lucky boy that she wanted to sail away with all those years ago. She tried to speak, only to fine her voice soar and dry. She smiled at him, happy to see him, to be with him after being trapped in the dark. Her smiled faded as she noticed slight orbs of lights coming off Sora’s body every now and again.
“No—” Her voiced croaked. The pain in her heart was starting to overtake the pain from her back.
The brown-haired boy continued to smile before he looked towards her, where she saw pain in his watery eyes. “I have made you wait alone for so long.” He began to talk, she could hear the sadness in his voice. “I didn’t want you to wait anymore. I didn’t want you to be alone.”
All her pain vanished. Her focus was just on him.
“I wanted to get you back so that we could finally be together. We could finally have that journey that we talked about.” He chuckled slightly as a few more orbs left his body. “The one thing I do for myself.”
Their surroundings started to change as the blue sky slowly turned into a sunset. The clear, watery floor that they were stilling on, faded into the paupo tree, bringing them back to the play islands, bringing them back home. Kairi didn’t move her glance from him though. Her eyes were locked on him.
She feared what will happen if she looked away.
“Kairi. You won’t be alone now. You’re home.” He held her hand tightly within his. “You’re safe.”
She shook her at this. “Sora—” Why did he always have to suffer. Why does he have to take everyone else’s suffering? While everyone else has been given another chance, why was it that the two of them had to stay apart?!
“I’m glad I met you, Kairi.” He smiled. “We will be together.”
The tears started to fall as she smiled at him back.
It was the only thing that she could do as she watched her best friend, the one she wanted to be together with just fade right in front of her. Her hand dropped slightly as his hand disappeared completely from hers.
Her head dropped as everything came rushing through her in one go.
The guilt.
The pain.
The grief.
The determination.
She looked back up to look at the sunset, summoning her keyblade, Destiny’s Embrace to her hand. “I’m going to bring you back!” She gripped her keyblade slightly.
Her mind flashed over all the times they did manage to spend together. There may have not been lots of occasions where they were together but each minute where she did get to see his goofy smile will remain in her heart no matter what.
