i dont know if you're still interested in your pixandrian conlang, but do you have a word for messenger, omen, or phantom ?
ooo those are interesting words. i don't have any words for them handy but let's see
so for phantom as in the minecraft mob, there's two options. at first, i assumed it could just be a borrowing from "another empires lang" (english), most likely as smth like féntám. But it occurs to me that phantoms are probably indigenous to the desert since wooly sheep don't exactly thrive out there and so we need a proper word. looking through my dictionary, i have a general word that means "mob, hostile creature" and a word for "wing" that affixes to it readily. so, the native pixandrian word for phantom is probably nerénaist
in terms of phantom as in a ghost, the best word i have lying around is for some reason there's the word dremléndir, which means "powerful spirit", so let's arbitrarily decide that drem- is the augmentative there and léndir means spirit. This also allows us to coin the verb léndrind which is difficult to directly translate, but an example might be a cat leaving a footprint on a parchment or working on the art for your marriage garment or haunting someone after you die. One might translate it as "to leave yourself behind"
messenger is interesting because "guy who does messages" is not necessarily "guy who sends messages on behalf of other people". i did check spanish though and it's a totally valid way to form the word! unfortunately i do not have the word message. i do, however, have a word for to beckon or call for and i think it makes sense that the guy who is going out ot beckon people to come to the king would have his duties extended into general messengering and that his title would be generalized. so that word would be alyíresét. It also allows us to coin the word alyíreseg for a message, though I think in modern pixandria, dms would literally translate to instant beckoning.
as for omen, we have kiríf for prophecy and it's almost 1 AM so i'm just gonna coin kirífeg as a single unit of prophecy and call it there. that seems fitting enough
