Spooky divination for lizard benefit! [open]

It’s that time of year again. I’m vibing to the October weather and feel like offering divination services.

My goal: To raise some money to upgrade my lizard’s enclosure next year, as he is a growing boy!

Types of readings offered:

- Mental image readings -  $5 - I meditate on your query and report the sensations I see/hear/smell/feel. Also known as trance work. This is by far my most popular divination service and gets a lot of good reviews.

- Tarot readings - $4 - I’m a bit rusty, but I use a cat-themed deck that is very fun. Can do 1-5 card draws depending what feels right for the question.

- Bibliomancy - Pay-what-you-want - I select a random book off my shelf (you can suggest a theme, color, subject, etc or leave it up to me) and flip through the pages with my eyes closed until I find a line that “feels right”. If there are cool images on the page, I can include a pic.

- Shufflemancy - Pay-what-you-want - I shuffle my music playlists (you can pick the theme/genre or leave it up to me) and you pick the minute:second moment that you want me to stop at when I land on a song.

- Let The Lizard Pick - Pay-what-you-want - if you need help picking between options, let the lizard pick for you! I’ll write the options on slips of paper and he will decide which is the best via the most tongue flicking. I’ll do my best to get a photo, but he’s pretty wriggly so they are often blurry.

Your reading might come with a cute lizard photo as a thank-you, lizard cooperation dependent. ;)

;_; thank you everyone who has purchased mental image readings. It means a lot, it really does. I am so honored to be able to go on a trip this year thanks to scholarships, but I’m being eaten up by travel costs - for example, I had to pay an extra $58 to book the seats I wanted on my flights because I didn’t want to sit in the middle of a 4 or 5 person row! What does that money even go to?? The CEO?? It certainly isn’t going to the flight attendants’ salaries.

I feel a bit of a ping in my brain, a fizzling white awakening somewhere in my prefrontal cortex. I haven’t had one of these incoming pings in a while. I ground myself and try to tease it out.

I ask to receive any honest, useful messages that anyone has for me. I see a field of wildflowers, a familiar backdrop for my readings for other people, but nothing stirs. Just red poppies and white daisies, and yellow daisies. No sound, barely a breeze.

I ask again for a message to receive. A growly voice that varies between being vaguely threatening and a more benign sassiness speaks.

“A witch cannot read her own crystal ball-”

“Why not?” I interrupt. I’ve heard this before and I want to reject it. Why shouldn’t I be able to read for myself?

“Because a witch controls her crystal ball. Your crystal ball depends on your choices.” Implying that because the choices at any one second are infinite, so too are the results, and therefore no one future can take precedence.

I decide to test this. “Fine. What happens if I continue to take courses in biology?”

“THEN YOU WILL DIE” the voice roars, a smokey feeling of purple and tar and sparks accompanying it. At first I’m alarmed, but then I see through it. “What, do you mean immediately?” “No,” the voice admits, “eventually, like everyone else.”

“Well anyway, what happens if I keep taking these courses? Will I ever be a field biologist?” I ask with more vulnerability than I intended.

“Yes,” says the voice, and the vision finally expands. I rise from my place beneath the flower heads and see a wide expanse of fields of wildflowers, with a low creek running through, and mountains in the distance. I feel that a forest is behind me and off to the sides, just out of sight. “You will see many fields, beautiful fields, and you will know the things that live there. You will see.” The vision closes itself.

Mental Image Reading for Wunjos

 I see a glimmering yellow shape come into view. It is a bright yellow daffodil flower in full bloom, against a clear blue sky, the sun overhead. It is flickering and moving in the breeze, through time, like a sped up time lapse video.

A bee finds it and visits it. Then another, then more, then thousands. There is so much visual detail. The golden body of the bee, the fuzziness of its torso, the velvet soft of the yellow-orange flower petals in the middle. 

I see and hear words at the same time, transparent with shining silver edges. Work together. Work, together. Work, together.

The image changes to panning upwards, somewhere dark and humming. I see thousands of bees forming a sort of pyramid, and at the top is a large queen bee. She wears some sort of white garment, and has a golden scepter and crown, yet she adores her workers. She caresses them and watches over them. Work as one. Work, as One. 

The image returns to the daffodil, but it is zooming out, rising. The daffodil is one of many, thousands, in a huge meadow, stretching into the distance. Beyond the meadow is a low stream, and more meadows, and mountains, and the air thrums with bees. 

Work together

And you will never be hungry

And you will always have bounty

And you will be watched over.

I think this reading is self-explanatory, but your feedback is certainly welcome. Thank you so much for your patience. This reading made my left temple throb for some reason, but it was a very pleasant reading. It felt so full of hope, that feeling you get when you’re singing in a chorus, or dancing in a synchronized group. The feeling of both being accepted as yourself, and contributing to something even greater than yourself.

Trade divination for Samhain/Halloween! [1/3 slots open]

Yo I have a lot of life stuff I would like insight on, and also I’m pretty good at helping other people have life insight, according to feedback and testimonials.

Sooo I’m willing to do up to three divination trades this weekend. What that means is: I divine for you, you divine for me, all during this weekend (Oct 30-31). If you have other similar services, i.e. reiki or whatnot, I’ll likely accept that too. I might extend this beyond just 3 if my headspace is holding up.

Rules:

- I don’t divine anything with demons or related entities (i.e. Lucifer, Lillith, etc). 

- If you ask me stuff like “can you check if this person is in love with me,” I will sympathetically tell you no. Trust me, I know what it’s like to feel that way, I went through it too, but literally nobody can answer that except the person you’re asking about. Anyone who claims otherwise is probably trying to get ya money. But stuff related to you or worded differently, i.e. “am I attracting healthy relationships” I would accept.

- Basically I have the right to refuse a reading if for some reason I feel it’s not possible or ethical for me to do, although I haven’t run into that in all my years of reading so that’s not likely to be an issue.

- What I have to offer: mental image readings (if you don’t know what those are, this explains, they are what I’m known for), tarot readings, or song shuffle readings (with song shuffles, specify how many times you want me to skip songs, or else I’ll just pick a number intuitively).

Mental image reading for Alittleuncouth [2/2]

I see red, lots of red. Something shiny and pouring and flowing. Red liquid spilling over a floating red heart, shaped like a cartoon heart. Red red red. Shiny and flowing and splashing.

Blood. Blood. Blood. 

The blood is filling the conceptual space I’m in. I see strawberries float to the top, bobbing with the flow. Blood and strawberries. Blood and strawberries. Blood and strawberries.

Bittersweet. Bittersweet. Bittersweet.

The vision continues, and it seems to emphasizing phrases over images. Old and new. Old and new. Old and new. To eat, you must drink. To eat, you must drink. To eat, you must drink. I see long teeth before me, biting into the red, slippery flesh. So much blood. It seems to be implying that to eat (survive, get what you need,) you must drink (blood). 

No gain without pain. The hunter can feel empathy for the prey, but in the end the hunter must eat.

Mental Image Reading for Alittleuncouth [1/2]

I am looking up through blades of grass. I see ladybugs crawling up the stems, and a grasshopper hops onto the blade in front of me. A black and white and pale yellowish bird swoops down and grabs the grasshopper. It is a chickadee, I think. It flies up from what I can see is a grassy meadow, up to a maple or oak tree. There are rolling hills of grass and sparse trees, all very green and clearly in the height of summer. A stark bright day.

The chickadee has two nestlings in a twig nest, on a low branch of the tree. As it feeds its young, a voice speaks. “The bird feeds her young because it is what must be done.” There is a pause. I have a feeling this is a message that is hard to translate into human words. “The bird feeds her young because it is what she must do. She does not gain or lose. It is what must be done. Do the work you must do, do not avoid it.” The scenery fades, but the feeling of a vision doesn’t. It’s like hearing someone breathing in the dark behind you.

I ask if there are any further messages. The blurry image of a great red dragon with the front half of a lion lands in front of me, its left paw outstretched to show its large claws. “Remember your ferocity” is what is said before the vision finally fades out.

Mental Image Reading for Sleeplessmarmalade

At first, I do not see anything really. Slowly, like with sleepy eyes, I see white butterflies. They float softly, barely flapping their wings. Snow falls in thick, slow snowflakes. The butterflies are intermixed with the snowflakes. I begin to hear soft orchestral music, violins that sound sad, trembling notes.

I see a fawn walking through the snow, a few feet away. It is Bambi, the famous deer. He is alone in the snow, cold and unsure. He watches the butterflies with curiosity, but with a desperate kind of curiosity. Looking for comfort. I see white hands reach for him.

A tall, larger-than-life feminine figure bends over to hold Bambi’s face in her hands. Everything about her is solid white, no grays or blues or any other tone. She casts no shadow. 

She wears a long-sleeved robe that goes all the way to the ground, simple with no patterns or embroidery. Her face has pointed features, but not in a way that is intimidating. Her face looks very youthful. She has long, straight white hair, with straight bangs, and long triangular ears.... cat’s or fox’s ears. They go from sticking out sideways, like a human’s, to sitting up like an animal’s. A small rack of white antlers sprout from the top of her head, originating maybe where her temples are. Each antler has 5 or 6 tines. 

She stands up to her full height, and I see a thick, bushy white tail sway out from behind her robe. She holds Bambi gently in her arms, his thin little legs neatly folded up, and he looks absolutely relaxed and relieved, his eyes closed and nose nestled into her sleeve. She regards me with a soft smile, and I can see her eyes. They are small, almond-shaped, and pitch black, but with an oil-like shine. Like looking at black silk. The eyes tell me that the youthful exterior is but an exterior, and she is very very old. 

I ask if she has any messages to confer. Her voice is soft, polite, but not shy. Firm. “Come to me, and I will keep you Warm.” The way she said warm seemed to suggest she meant more than just temperature.
