BODY SLAMS MY WAY IN HERE

I try to think of any words that come even close to describing the amount of admiration I have for you, and lemme tell you it is a struggle. I've said before that you do this wonderfully profound job of portraying emotion in your writing, and I am as in awe of it now as I was the day I first followed you.

you just bring so much tangible life to leon. he's so nuanced, he experiences so much growth, and it brings me so much joy to read your meta and threads and feel like I'm on that journey with him. I love how emotional he is, both internally and externally, and how dedicated he is to his friends and loved ones. I love that he tries to shield himself from the world, but when given the opportunity to lower his guard, he will make the first move. I love that he knows what he needs for himself and won't compromise on his boundaries. I love that all of these things tie into who he is at his core and how he's been shaped by the tragedies of his past.

do you even know what a delight it has been getting to write and plot with you? do you??? because if you don't, this is me telling you that not only are our interactions a delight, but YOU yourself are as well!! and you'd best not forget it!

YOU  !!  🫵  are  an  incredible  writer  ,  character  analyst  ,  and  more  importantly  ,  my  friend  .  when  i  started  off  this  blog  we  became  mutuals  pretty  early  on  and  i  cannot  TELL  you  how  much  time  i  wasted  admiring  you  and  your  little  MenaceTM  from  across  the  dash  as  one  of  my  biggest  blog  crushes  .and  every  day  i  am  SO  glad  i  managed  to  work  up  the  bravery  to  start  talking  to  you  ,  because  you  are  genuinely  so  much  fun  to  write  /  plot  /  even  just  discuss  things  with  .  and  in  fact  if  it  wasn’t  for  you  ,  ree  ,  han  ,  and  karen  ,  i  would’ve  just  completely  dropped  my  dragon  age  verse  out  of  fear  despite  loving  it  so  very  much  .  i  can’t  even  describe  how  much  that  means  to  me  really  !!!

and  felassan  .  oh  my  GOD  ,  that  man  .  i  thought  canon  characters  were  off  limits  and  you  TRICKED  me  with  him  ,  via  !!!  now  i’m  irrevocably  in  love  with  YOUR  interpretation  of  him  ,  specifically  .  you  took  a  character  that  had  hardly  anything  concrete  to  work  with  in  canon  and  you  fleshed  him  out  to  the  point  of  making  him  something  SOOO  much  more  dynamic  than  he  appears  .  and  when  you  write  him  ?  i  can  feel  his  energy  through  the  words  :  how  centered  and  graceful  he  is  despite  all  he’s  been  through  .  how  much  love  he  has  for  the  people  around  him  ,  how  bright  he  is  despite  not  needing  to  enter  the  room  in  a  flash  the  way  leon  does  .  subtle  ,  gentle  ,  yet  POWERFUL  .  i  love  how  you  play  around  with  what  lingers  so  much  deeper  than  the  sarcasm  and  the  terrible  jokes  ,  and  how  you’ve  weaved  in  his  npc’s  to  flawlessly  demonstrate  WHY  he  does  things  the  way  he  does  them  .  to  illustrate  the  level  of  pain  he’s  endured  and  still  keeps  moving  through  .  that  takes  an  immense  level  of  talent  ,  and  it’s  that  talent  that  made  me  want  to  read  tme  in  the  first  place  !  and  i’m  truly  glad  i  did  because  i  really  think  you  write  the  Perfect  continuation  on  his  character  .

BUT  WAIT  THERE’S  MORE  !!✋  i  love  felassan  but  you  know  what  else  i  love  ?  YOUR  creative  touch  .  i’ve  spent  the  last  few  weeks  getting  to  know  cardamomt  and  eirlana  and  i  can’t  even  tell  you  how  Inspired  i’ve  been  to  create  and  flesh  out  my  OWN  characters  even  more  since  .  it  shocks  and  astounds  me  that  card  in  particular  has  lived  Exclusively  in  your  head  ,  and  yet  he  is  already  such  a  profound  and  unique  interpretation  on  the  wol’s  journey  .  i  cannot  even  TELL  you  how  much  i  secretly  hope  he  finds  his  way  to  his  own  rp  blog  in  the  future  ,  because  i  think  he’s  100%  worth  sharing  with  the  rpc  ,  and  everyone  else  in  here  who’s  ffxiv  brained  like  me  NEEDS  to  meet  him  imo  .

and  eirlana  ???  my  beloved  hof  /  inquisitor  ????  FROTHING  AT  THE  MOUTH  to  see  more  from  her  ,  honestly  .  i  personally  find  writing  MC’s  a  bit  difficult  because  i  always  feel  like  i  am  stuck  in  a  box  with  it  ,  but  you  take  that  box  and  you  make  it  your  Bitch  when  you  create  characters  !!  eirlana’s  history  in  the  alienage  ,  her  past  as  hof  ,  her  passion  for  her  people  and  her  companions  ,  her  sense  of  humor  and  the  way  she  survives  the  mounting  pressures  over  and  over  again  ,  and  how  ALL  of  that  lends  itself  beautifully  to  her  position  as  the  inquisitor  ??  inspiring  to  leon  yes  ,  but  inspiring  to  ME  !!  more  importantly  .  i  think  everyone  in  the  darpc  needs  to  meet  her  ,  and  i  LOVE  seeing  you  take  her  out  and  play  around  with  her  in  the  doll  house  .  soft  promo  @destinywrought  ←  go  read  about  eirlana  tabris  💕💕💕  my  beloved  ~

there's something disgusting that lives inside khima ingellvar. it's a wormy-hot caustic and slimy feeling that doesn't just sit inside of them, it moves around through their gut and around their heart and up into their throat. and when they come home, it tightens until khima ingellvar can't breathe anymore.

felassan knows that it's there. he's never said as much, but they know that he knows, and they can't force themself to apologize for it. he doesn't make them feel like they need to. there's something disgusting that lives inside of them and he cradles it every time he holds them, and they don't talk about it.

this is elandhris' own fault, for a careless approach, for feeling an ancient soul and assuming common sense accompanied the years. it has yet to have met one of solas' contemporaries who truly opposed them — but many were reluctant. it could understand that. it had been reluctant at first thought, too.

but none had yet been so petulantly over-familiar. the gall!
