after much debating with myself, i’ve decided to post my most favorite FEM!EXO oneshots here [from aff]. and maybe i’ll also post drabbles of fem!exo, too... and take short, prompted request here, too.
Summary: Minji finds out that her debut won’t go as planned.
♧ february 2010 ♧
“You’re too talented to debut in EXO. Putting you in an idol group would be a waste of your talents, Hwa Min-ssi. We’re going to debut you as a solo artist, but you’ll have to train for a couple more years. If everything goes as planned, you’ll be able to debut by 2014 or 2015.”
Minji bowed her head, “Thank you.”
“The boys have already been informed of these plans. You can see them yourself though.” The President, told her before leaving the room. Minji soon followed after a minute, going to find where her now ex-group was.
She found the practice room Exo were currently in and paced in front of the door. She was scared of what might happen when she saw them. She hoped they weren’t mad and understood it wasn’t her choice. She took a deep breath before pushing the door open. “Hwa Min-ah!” Minseok yelled seeing her walk through the door.
“Hi oppa,” She softly smiled. She kept her gaze fixed on the floor, not wanting to meet their eyes.
“Is everything alright noona?” Jongin asked.
“I was told I’d be debuting as a solo artist.” She said quietly.
The room went silent. Everyone had a solemn expression. They were told this morning of the news and spent the whole morning heartbroken. The youngest members had shed a few tears while the older ones tried not to show how sad they were. They had all gotten quite close with the girl, especially since she always took such good care of them like she was the oldest instead of Minseok.
“It’s a good thing though. We don’t want you to leave, but this is a better opportunity for you. We know you’ll do amazing.” Junmyeon smiled.
“But I don’t wanna leave,” Minji pouted, tears forming in her eyes. “I love you all too much. I dreamed about debuting with Exo, not anyway else. It won’t be the same without you guys.” Tears fell from Minji’s eyes. She tried to wipe them away, but more tears kept falling.
Yixing and Luhan pulled the younger girl into a hug as she cried. The members sat there, tears starting to fall. No matter how tough they tried to be, they always broke when it came to Minji. They could never keep up a facade in front of her. They stayed in the practice room, huddled around the girl, crying.
“It’s not like you’re leaving though. We’ll all still be here. We’ll still be friends and see each other,” Baekhyun choked, after a few minutes.
So a while ago I made some EXO female sims. Last night I edited them some more and right now I’m really happy with how they turned out
So last but not least, here’s our badass Minseok
I had some trouble figuring out which haircolour I wanted for her, but I decided to go with the classic orange
This is single dad Xiumin AU except it’s from Sehee’s pov~ There’ll be more single dad Xiumin because I love this AU a lot.
Sehee is 10, Jongin is 8.
Sehee looks into the mirror. Her black hair falls onto her shoulders, her skin is smooth and flawless and her cheekbones sharp despite the puppy fat that still resides on her body.
People say she’s beautiful, Sehee usually doesn’t believe them. She doesn’t know how long she has until they’re supposed to leave for school but she honestly doesn’t really care. No, that’s a lie.
She does, she wishes she never went to school because she feels so horribly alone.
She has been homeschooled until this summer where her father decided that it was better she met other kids her age instead of only hanging around her sisters and Jongdae’s kids.
In all honesty, she had been excited to start school until she realised that whatever ‘ready to have a deaf kid’ they had convinced her father they were - they weren’t.
Nobody ever helped her with relaying important messages and none of her classmates bothered with getting to know her. She had seen the words written on paper meant for her to see and she didn’t even doubt they were saying things about her as well, things she luckily couldn’t hear.
Sehee sighs when the light suddenly flickers on and off 3 times only to stay off.
She finds Baekhee on the other side with a sheepish smile.
We’re leaving she signs and Sehee nods and leave the bathroom. Her father sends her a wide smile and asks her if she’s ready and she nonchalantly shrugs and decides that okay, today can’t possibly be worse than the rest of them.
She’s wrong about that.
---
They have a substitute teacher in History who very conveniently hasn’t been told that she’s deaf and it isn’t until someone slams a ruler in her desk and disrupts her vision that she looks up and realises they have been trying to communicate with her.
She looks around for help but all of her classmates seem to be snickering and laughing at her and in the end, she has to wander to the blackboard and with capital letters write ‘I’m deaf’ before the teacher understands.
They seem to apologise but Sehee doesn’t care and she doesn’t even bother trying to lip-read. She sucks at lip-reading anyway and much prefers sign language.
Their Math teacher seems to follow along their sub in History and decides to make a fool of her in front of the entire class when she can’t answer a much too complicated equation for their year.
She’s exhausted when she flops down at a lonely table during lunch, only to find that someone has stuck a post-it on her backpack that says retard.
She’s so tired that she can’t even get angry so when a body flops down in front of her she doesn’t even look up.
It isn’t until someone taps her plate with slim fingers that she looks up and gets eye contact with Jongin. Sehee tilts her head in a question and Jongin sends her a bright smile.
You look lonely he signs and Sehee just sighs and lets her fork down.
I want a friend she signs back and Jongin raises an eyebrow in question.
You have me he signs and adds a smile. Sehee just shakes her head.
A real friend, everybody bullies me. She’s positive that whatever they say behind her back is ten times worse but she’s also kind of grateful she can’t hear all that. Jongin frowns.
Sehee just shows him the post-it note that was stuck to her backpack. The disbelief in his eyes is almost comical.
But you’re my best friend! he signs and Sehee can’t help the little smile. Jongin is kind of like a younger brother but it’s nice knowing that he at least doesn’t see her as retarded as everybody else in this godforsaken elementary school.
I am? she signs back and Jongin nods firmly. She doesn’t really understand what’s happening when Jongin suddenly gets up and he’s angry, that much is obvious on his facial features.
Sehee looks around until she notices a couple of her classmates and Jongin moving his lips towards them in a way that indicates that he’s shouting.
Sehee grabs his wrist and forces him to sit down and the stern look she sends him says everything.
---
P.E. is Sehee’s worst nightmare. Not only is her body taller and her limbs longer than the rest of the girls in her class, but her teacher has a habit of shouting directions she clearly never gets and thus is always confused.
Today is no exception as she stares blankly at her teacher while her classmates start doing some kind of running to a beat she cannot hear either.
Her teacher rolls their eyes and points towards the bench and Sehee, once again, sits out despite actually wanting to join.
Her locker is filled with small papers on which there are written freak, retard and stupid and she slumps against it.
Sehee hasn’t told her father that her classmates aren’t exactly her best friends because she’s sure he’ll get mad at them for bullying her but she really just wants to go back to homeschooling so she doesn’t have to deal with assholes all the time.
Then a shadow in front of her catches her eyes and she looks up and directly into the brown eyes of her classmate.
They mock her, tilts their head and calls her slurs she can’t hear but knows anyway and she’s about to run away when someone pushes the guy in front of her away.
Sehee barely gets a look at Jongin before he’s pushing the other again and she has to grab his shoulders to stop him from punching the other.
She shakes her head and Jongin angrily signs he was calling you worthless. She lets go of his shoulders to sign a sharp don’t and Jongin slumps back and glares at the other who scrambles from the floor with an angry gaze.
You’re going to get into trouble she signs and Jongin looks towards the floor and moves his lips in what looks like a mumble but Sehee doesn’t get anything. So she taps his shoulder and sends him another stern look. Seriously, don’t get in trouble over me she signs and Jongin pouts.
Your sisters would get in trouble for you, why can’t I? he signs and Sehee laughs a soundless laughter and shakes her head.
Don’t be stupid like them she signs back at him and Jongin sends her a small smile before he reaches out his pinky towards her.
Best friends? he signs with one hand and Sehee laughs again and links her pinky with his.
Only if you don’t get in trouble she signs and Jongin sticks his tongue out at her.
When she gets off of school she waves goodbye to Jongin before she climbs into the car and smiles at her father.
Had a good day? he signs and Sehee nods. For a day that started so bad maybe it won’t be that bad if Jongin is willing to be her friend and brother in school.
