Through her abduction by and marriage to Hades, she is the Queen of the Underworld. Her Roman counterpart is Proserpina.

Hello everyone, and welcome to Femme Deities Net! We took a bit of a hiatus due to current events, but now we’re back and ready with a new event!

August is the time when some of us go back to school while others celebrate the last few weeks of summer. For this reason, we’ve chosen to celebrate the end of summer in the Northern Hemisphere! So our theme is:

Summer’s End

Choose a deity or something from mythology that you think fits the end of summer and make something for them! This could be in the form of an edit, a poem or short story, or even a playlist! The options are endless.

This is a free reign event, meaning members and non-members are strongly encouraged to participate! The event will run throughout the entire month.

Also note, we’ve expanded our net to include any male/masculine-aligned lovers, consorts, and family of female/femme-aligned deities, so if you find it difficult to make an edit for a female deity, you’re free to make something for her lover or relative instead.
