I’ve heard so many incredibly stupid and offensive things said over the last few weeks at school

I just want to carry around glitter and confetti and throw it at people and let the gentle rain of stupidity and sparkles float down around them as I say with a deadpan face “yet another reason I’m a feminist” or “congratulations, that was the most ignorant thing i’ve heard all day”

Women's rights

Equality every women asks for equality but I bet her ASS won't be willing to equally pay for dinner, buy my ASS a 10,000 wedding ring or buy me somthing pointless like flowers for abseloutly no reason other than they smell good and it's romantic quote in quote....

A guy once told me he think feminist is stupid because if feminists truly want equality they shouldn't oppress others.

I got dressed coded today for having too short of shorts. (They are not that short) and I had to talk to the principal so I asked why the code was above knee shorts and he said "when a young woman shows too much skin it distracts the young man" so im happy he said that because my feminist side came out. I responded with, "That is because society has over sexualized the female body. These are just legs nothing else." So then he asked for my email and told me that he will schedule me an appointment to speak with the president of the comitty council, so that I can share my beliefs. I plan on writing a 5 page essay of how people see females as being sexual objects and that is why girl cant wear shorts above their knee. I do understand that there is a limit but my shorts are not even considered short shorts. I am going to write a persuasive essay and I hope something will change.

I'm done being girl. Girl has a weak connotation. I am going to tell them what the fuck is up when they hurt me. I'm done my emotions being swept under the rug. I am more capable and powerful than they know and I'm ready to show it. I'm tired of looking away/staring at the floor wordless until no one is looking again. You are only as strong as you let yourself be, and I've been a mouse my whole life. I'm ready to be a lion. I will reach decibels above the people that have made me hate myself if that's what it takes to tell them I'm done. I am here. I am alive. I have a brain. I am a person, and I will be treated like one. I am NOT a convenient body. I am NOT here for your entertainment. I am here to make a difference and that's what I'll do. I will dress up, or dress down for my eyes, not yours. I am woman. And I am equal. And im not going to let anyone forget it.
