What are you thankful for today? I start each day thinking about the things I am grateful for - it starts the day with such a lovely positive mindset! I can highly recommend it! . Today I am thankful for friends and family and for my dad being born in America which meant that on the last Thursday in November, we used to cook Turkey and Corn Bread and Sweet Potato for Thanksgiving, when the rest of the UK was gearing up for Christmas! . And I am thankful for so much this year - in my home life, and in my work and in my business - I have met so many fabulous people and been honoured to capture their photographs - yes I do feel it is an honour to be part of people's journey and transformation - I get to see and capture so much through the eye of the camera. . So I guess most of all I am very thankful that I was able to make some choices a few years ago (over 9 years ago now!) which resulted in me now running a successful Personal Branding and Business photography service and I love every minute of it.. `How are you? All of it gets to be easy. Our businesses. Our personal lives. Our day to day. Our relationships. Our friendships. Every bit of it. It gets to come with ease. You get to feel like you're not having to second guess yourself, your decisions, your opinions, etc. You get to feel like you're constantly celebrated by the Universe. You get to feel ALL of the good. And it gets to be EASY. But in order for it to be easy, You first must have a relationship with yourself. For years I wondered why it wasn't easy, What I was doing wrong, Why everything was JUST. SO. HARD. in life. Why was life out to get me? But I was looking at it through the wrong lense - It wasn't out to get me. It was showing me that I didn't have a relationship with myself. I was surviving - not living, and definitely not connecting. Once I shifted from looking outward to looking inward, I started living. Thriving. And life became EASY. Business became EASY. Recently I was booked for a Brand and Lifestyle photoshoot for Tiny T’s Theatre. We had a fantastic day and both Tiny T and I really loved the photos. . Photos captured by me! 📸📸📸 … What an incredible Summer its been for Tiny T's Theatre! 🌻Still having to pinch myself that we were able to perform LIVE THEATRE as well as attend nearly all of the festivals and events that were booked 👏🏻 Thank you to everybody again at @iris_theatre and @hitchinfestival for commissioning this brand new version of Spectacular that I had the absolute pleasure of re writing and producing with such a talented team and all of your help and support. 💫So what's next? Here’s Helen looking lovely when we met up to capture photos of her for her brand shoot a few weeks ago. . Helen realised that life and business marketing could be a lot easier if she always had plenty of photos to pick from to create her social media posts and photos for her website. So she booked in for a personal brand photoshoot and it was so much fun. We had a great afternoon together and as you can see, we got some lovely natural business photos that perfectly reflect Helen’s happy personality and reflect her brand. . And yes, there will always be a need for photographs as well as videos on social media. A mix of photographic posts, carousels, (where you swipe to see the next photo like you can here) texts and videos, reels and IGTV all work very well so it’s good to have variety of different types of posts. . And with many businesses finding things a little quieter during the school holidays, August is a great time to have your own brand photography photoshoot.
