I loved that film as a child but something about it made me uncomfortable and I couldn’t ever quite tell what

I don’t think it made me uncomfortable, I think I was just into it and reveling in the strong feeling that it was probably not something I should be watching

also I definitely just rewatched it on youtube, and I know waaaaay too many of the lyrics wow

I tried my damndest to like it, even got about 11 episodes in, but it never grabbed me like I thought it would. There’s just too many characters to have a focused story so it’s rambly, and they have way more fights which don’t really capture my interest. I think the TAZ comparison is spot-on.

I mean I don’t want to bag on it ‘cause I’m sure it’s 100% up a lot of people’s respective alleys, but yeah I’m not feeling their approach to combat. I’m sure it’s fun to PLAY, but I’m not that keen on listening to (... or watching) that.

#femvimes #combat was always my least favourite part of taz balance too #in fact I consider a weakness of the final episode to be that there's just way too much fighting
