It was rather by accident that the Animals line came into being. I made a dog bowl for my spoilt dog Bramble (she is a labrador/collie cross) and I asked my brother who is a brilliant illustrator to design something to put on the bowl. So he drew Bramble. The labrador design is now one of my best sellers along with the dachshund.
Following on the popularity of the ceramics I thought I would investigate starting a fabrics line. I spend a lot of my time in France and I adore the quality of fabrics and especially the linen I come across so often in old antiques stores. I wanted to produce a fabrics line that was good quality and made in the UK like my pottery. It took a while! But I found an amazing mill in Scotland and a wonderful company in Lancashire who produce my new cushions that come with a yummy squishy feather pad.
So there you go... from dog bowl to linen cushion... all thanks to my big bro Greg.
