Hello to you! You’re not bothering at all, of course! Welcome in the ffxv fandom, the official dramaqueen of the videogame’s world probably xD

Your ask made me realize I don’t follow a lot of Promptis or Ignoct blogs (which is also normal since I stick more to the Lunyx part of the fandom) but I can give you some suggestions anyway, maybe? let me try (i hope it will be fine) 

 @zacksoldiers @fulgurians, @radiantgardens @elliejoys, @gayrikus @rsasai (you’ll find a bunch of ignoct fan fics here) @loveiscosmicsin (more ignoct fics here) and then … well, I could give you more generic ffxv blogs? @unknowingheart @fieryfantasy @shepplo @dalishgirlfriend @thefantasyhasnolimits are just some, but they post both the ships you asked for, from time to time. 

(sorry guys if I mentioned you, feel free to tell me if you like to be “advertised” as promptis or ignoct blogs, i don’t want to offend anyone ;) )

Most of them are multifandom or multishipping, so take a look yourself. I’m sorry i can’t help a lot with the ships you asked for, but i’m sure that people can add their url or other suggestions in the comments below :3

long answer: I'm not so sure, bcs:

it's a pretty shitty plotline

why did you develop a character only to kill him before he could show his growth? (what is this gundam ibo dejavu)

his death is pretty ridiculous???

in a fantasy world where magic and demon and angel and summons actually exist, how the fuck none even remembers curative magic???

if sofiel could get to gabriel's place in a blink just like that, then why didn't they bring mugaro to heaven/temple ark/gabriel's place???

rita is a *necromancer*. why didn't they call actual demon/angel/summon with healing/restorative powers???

also, unlike demons, angels disappear in the form of light when they die; and yet, mugaro's body is still there.

wasn't he a full god then???

and that knife; alessand actually used ordinary knife, not magical knife, not demon/angel made knife, and that knife didn't even have green stone to give it power or something.

so how the fuck he was able to kill/hurt mugaro badly enough mugaro died???

or is mappa trying to tell me that the current writer didn't bother to check/watch the previous series hence this inconsistency???

but mugaro's body being left behind was probably bcs the show still has some purpose for him, like they're planning to revive him somehow.

i hope this is true for mugaro's own sake bcs otherwise he's the most pitiful character in the show, since it seems his only purpose is to suffer and die without even some sort of consolation.

also, again, why did they bother to build him up for most of the series only to kill him like this??????

there were  magical beings in that room: 3 gods and 1 demon, yet none can actually do healing magic??? hamsa and azazel i could believe since azazel never shows any ability for healing since genesis, but sofiel and bacchus tho. if sofiel could actually power up and change jeanne like that, surely healing mugaro would be easy, and yet.

tl;dr the show needs heaven and hell to unite in fighting a common enemy and it seems the death of a single god child is the only way they could do it, which is total bullshit

and gdi i know this is such a ridiculous reason to be mad about but i hate how despite taking place in a fantasy world, none seems to remember they're in actual fantasy world where magic does exist. the show's approach to things is very... human-like to say the least. you have all these great magical beings yet they're being restricted by human like limitation - which shouldn't exist for them

Unpopular opinion about [insert fandom here]?

I was going to say the fandom is bad but honestly that’s not even unpopular I’m pretty sure no one can stand it as much as the people inside it.

So huh... I’m gonna go with an actually unpopular opinion and say that it’s really not that bad, I’ve met tons of different nice people, met new friends, the fandom helped me turn a page over in my life, also VLD as a whole helped me out with a very deep, very old personal issue with a long time friend and we both got over it and we’re closer now than nine years ago so yeah

VLD fandom helped me a great deal, for all the bad it did, it helped raised a ridiculously high amount for charity via zines and other fan works, it helped people get creative with merch, fandom meta, fic and art and all sorts of contents, the cast and crew involved with the show are incredibly nice people who are actually happy to engage with the fandom

and just, personally, no matter how hard it gets (and I’d like to think I’ve already reached my lowest point in this fandom last October) it throws positivity at me twice as hard and I’m eternally thankful for everything so far.

If that means having to deal with some bad times and rotten apples now and then, so be it.
