thinking about white-collar office worker au where all the sodor railway blokes are working their remote jobs doing business management for the railway companies and its The Most Office Job Environment Ever.

Henry is the idiot who's muted over zoom and doesn't know it until someone tells him he's muted and he can't figure out why. James and Thomas get a screen cap of him leaning in trying to figure it out and change their Webcam backgrounds so everyone thinks they're Henry all the time.

Edward is the human resources representative and he is so fucking overworked by these clowns.

Gordon is the floor administrator and is looking for ANY valid reason to fire James but James is so fucking good at marketing he can't in good conscience get rid of him.

Percy is the IT wizard who everyone assumes is a robot and sleeps in the office and can fix literally anything. No one knows how. It Just Works™️. Gordon struggling with his Webcam and Percy sneezes on it: fixed. Convinced he is just an AI.

Thomas is the temp worker who never left.

The skarloey and culdee fell railway representatives work on the floor below them and just have constant noise complaints.

Plus they all get cute button ups and ties.

Dear Edward, A few years ago I came home from school having finished up my grade 10 math course (trigenomtry). I told mom, but she brushed it off and didn't acknowledge what i'd done. I mentioned it to you one day on twitter, and you said you were proud of me. I'm almost 20 now, and I've recently been able to sell 2 custom-to-order DS systems to someone in the USA all by myself.
