My Entry for this year's TVS collab! The goal was to combine a RWS exclusive story with a certain episode or movie from the TVS. I was tasked with combining a Mountain Engines story with Calling All Engines. I took some liberties and made a very vague reference to the film and combined TVS style with RWS (blacked out cabs, more simplified features, Rheneas' TVS paint scheme etc. Also I threw in an easter egg haha. The Biplane is @ferlost 's Brisfit oc, Nigel.

The Future is Still Silver and Black: 1976

Hey letter fans, hope you're finding ways to stay cool this summer. The 1976 update is finally here!

We have a few updates to the website for this round. You'll notice some more incredible art of the Train of the Goddesses once again by @ferlost, and we've also changed webhosts!

We now have a much shorter (and more shareable) url at pioneerandpilot.com. While we loved working within the parameters of neocities, having our own domain gives us a little more freedom and creates a foundation for some exciting updates we're working on right now. Please enjoy the new batch of letters, don't forget to leave a comment in the Guestbook if you enjoyed them, and we'll see you when the snow falls in 1977. :)

As another year comes to an end, The Future is Still Silver and Black 1975 update is here!

This update includes a new batch of letters, some new engine bios, two new illustrations; art of ATSF 2903 by the always-impeccable @ferlost and a postcard that DJ and I worked on together and sent in real life to the Flying Yankee Association! We're trying new stuff out, with more plans for new content in future updates.

And for the update art: Our boys are sporting the official Amtrak and CTA holiday sweaters for 2024!
