Tribbles tried to randomize the plots she went to, but this was the fourth time she'd arrived at this plot in the same month. She was starting to think Protostar was altering the randomization... either that or she kept hitting the "last plot visited" option. She was tempted to hop to the next random plot, but felt the urge to check on the owner of this plot. He was incapacitated last time...She balanced the pans in one arm, double checking her mask as she approached. Confident it was secure, she chirped as she paused at the door. It was closed, but when she hesitantly tested it, it swung open easily. She crossed the threshhold, easing her way into the kitchen to deposit the pans."Hey!" The pans clattered to the countertop as her head jerked up guiltily to see a green haired aurin watching her. He hobbled forward as she began to retreat back to the door. "So you're the one that's been leaving food?" She turned, springing to make a mad dash for the door before he shouted again. "Hey! Don't leave! Stay, chat with me. You have to want to talk, right?" Her pause was enough to make his voice lower into a soothing coax. "Yeah, you want to talk. Come on, come in here and sit. I won't bite." She turned to see him motioning her to come nearer and she couldn't help smile."I'm not a wild daggun...""You're certainly skittish like one." He grinned, flopping back onto the couch and propping up his leg. "I'm just glad you didn't decide to make a break for it. I can't exactly follow you! So what's your name?""It's not... not that important." She murmured shyly, tucking a wild strand of her red hair behind her ear."I asked, it's important to me." He crossed his arms, looking at her sternly. "I'd like a name to go with the excellent food. Mine's Ferin.""Tribbles." She hadn't taken a seat yet, but she shifted on her feet and burst into a smile. "You liked the casserole and yellowbells? Do you want some that I just brought?""Nah, I'll get some later." Her perky demeanour deflated and he patted the seat beside himself. "Come sit. So why do you do it?""Pardon?" She looked startled at the question, stepping closer to the couch. "I... I just never thought of not doing it. Everyone needs a bright spot in their day, you know?" He frowned, seeming intent on asking another question. "Do you want to dance?" She asked suddenly, an impish grin on her face as she offered her hand."What?" There was no music and it was an obvious ploy to get out of answering questions. She bent, taking his hands in hers as she pulled him up, taking care not to bump his leg."Lean on me when you're not strong." She whispered, putting his arms around her waist as she put her arms on his shoulders, shuffling her feet in a wobbly cadence as her tail lazily drifted back and forth.
